Every character or robot as it is in the game, has its own attributes, namely the health level, punch power, kick power, and weapon skill. These options enable a player to set the team of robots as per his or her desired fighting technique or the amount of energy to be used in punches or a balance of both kicks and punches.
The gameplay, however, changes may seem quite repetitive after 3 or 4 matches, and the matches themselves may not last for quite a while. As stated above, there are many robots and advances empowers you, but the key gameplay does not change significantly as you advance. This might have consequences for the long term where players are usually looking for new diverse or more complicated experiences. Further, the controls are precise and feel somewhat natural though there can be more smoothness to it. At some points, movements and attacks are not very fluid and this creates some sort of a problem in the gaming experience.
Over all graphics are good and game has great art style, the robots are well designed and looks cool in animation. However, these environments do not look as polished and the foregrounds, while many of them are quite nice, can often look a bit bland. As for the music, it’s fairly decent but not extraordinary, which in part, can be attributed to the rather average looks of the game.
Overall as far as the action games involving robots are concerned Mech Chaos Robot Boxing Games is quite satisfactory and appropriate for casual players. Its customization is not bad, but the game play is boring as it is repetitive and the controls are rather stiff for some people’s taste.
