The Elder Scrolls: Blades - A Mobile RPG Journey with Room for Improvement

The Elder Scrolls: Bethesda’s Blades manages to adapt the famous franchise for mobile while providing an eye candy with marvelous graphics and stable FPS. It also incorporates a great graphics view of all the games under the elder scrolls universe so that it gives fans the real feel of the game. The fight mechanism is clear, completing a swipe and tap gesture to assault, parry, and throw spells. Thus it is easy for players who have just joined to start playing it while is not very easy to master.
That is one of the key fun attributes since nobody likes to wander through the dark abbey, fight monsters and gain some treasures, and buy better armor and weapons. This game provides a great number of enemies, quests and environemts that can be interesting to players. The second feature of town-building gives more depth to gameplay as well and is fun to progress, to build your own town, which feels rewarding.
But, as will be pointed out, there are significant costs involved. The story just does not go deep enough as the typical Elder Scrolls game. It is less interesting and not as complex – something that detracts it to those who have had their fill of better stories from other games of the series. The character creation aspect is also quite limited, which is not surprising since this has been a theme in past Bioshock games.
The biggest issue with The Elder Scrolls: Some of the weaknesses of Blades include the fact that is solely based on in-app purchases and the use of timers. Many times, development is hindered by time to open a chest or upgrades for buildings unless you’d like to donate money. This pay-to-progress can be quite irritating, and kills much of the fun, of the game, making it seem more of a chore than a game.
In conclusion, The Elder Scrolls: In the game Blades, obvious efforts have been made in providing glamour and absorbing mobile game battle experience, yet, it fails on the storytelling and smooth gaming experience due to the monetization techniques. It deserves a go attempt for fans though it has some restrictions on the way.
