The Fancy Jellyfish
You'll find yourself in the bar, called 'The Fantasy Jellyfish'. To your right, you'll find a mini-game, called Mad Magic! It's not necessary to play, and you won't win an Achievement, but free to have some fun. Otherwise head toward the far left side of the bar.
Here, you'll find a man referred to as, Mr. Know-All. He'll offer you information if you can beat him in a card game.
21 Points Challenge
Sit down and play. You can choose to "Hit" to add another card to your hand, or "Stand" to pass your turn. Adding up the value on your cards, whoever ends with a number closest to 21 wins the round, but if you go over 21, you lose ("Bust"). A player will automatically win the current round if they hit 21 on the nose. Sound familiar? It's a game of Blackjack!
You'll have to decide if you want to risk another card, which can push you closer (or over) 21, or if you want to call, deciding that your number is close enough to win.
It's all a luck of the draw, but if you can win 3/5 games, you'll beat him. It shouldn't take too long, but it may take a few rounds. Don't worry, you can keep retrying until you win!
By beating him, You'll unlock a new File, after that you're free to leave. If you want to play again (no reward), talk to him.
Now head back to the central bar and speak with Royde. He'll bring out an old friend, Xun.
Old Friends

The trio will catch up, and when given a choice, feel free to choose whichever option you want, they both add more to the story (but you can only choose one, if you want to hear the other, you'll have to replay the section).
After a bit, Rex will excuse himself to go to the bathroom. You'll find the bathroom to the left, next to Luigi.
After going to the bathroom, you'll be given control again. Feel free to wash your hands, and move to the left to talk to the robot, Brayden. He'll recognize you as a famous detective, and will ask for your help. One of his friends is missing, and he wants you to find them.
Rex will give him his contact information, so he can send over everything he has about his missing friend, and you'll be allowed to leave the conversation.
Before you leave the room, move over to the Drunk Lady on the ground to the left. Interact with her, and help her. and she'll thank you.
Leave the bathroom, but don't speak with Royde and Xun yet! Instead, head right back toward the entrance and speak with Green Hair Mike sitting at one of the tables. After the conversation, head back to the bar and interact with the Staff Passage door to the left of Royde. You'll enter the Staff Passage. Enter the Wine Cellar door you see to the left to trigger a hidden sidequest!
Wine Cellar

Inspect the Cross Stitch near the far right side of the Wine Cellar for a clue.
Then interact with the Monkey Mask to the left to start a simple puzzle. Here you must click on the mask's "teeth" to retract them and form a specific pattern; think back to the pattern you saw on the Cross Stitch!Correctly solving the Monkey Mask puzzle will allow you to grab the Home-Brewed White Wine off the nearby cabinet.Head back near the entrance and interact with the hole in the wall to the right of the doorway. Use the Home-Brewed White Wine on the hole. This will light the torches above the door, and make a Bronze Key appear to the left! Grab it.Now note the sequence of three numbers that periodically appear above the right torch.Try to remember the three numbers that appear, as they will translate into a specific time that you must enter into the nearby Clock. The Clock face has three hands that you can adjust clockwise or counter-clockwise. Your goal is to the adjust the three hands to the numbers you saw illuminated above the torch earlier.
Move the Red Hand to "XI" (11)Move the Yellow Hand to "IV" (4)
Move the Green Hand to "IX" (9)
Solving the Clock Puzzle will allow you to grab the Evenac-VSOP off the nearby Cabinet. Note the number (age) of the bottle!
Now head back to the right and use your Bronze Key on the Locked Drawer near the Cross Stitch pattern. You'll find some Ripped Poker Cards inside. Once again, you'll need to figure out a sequence of three numbers to enter into the Clock like before. This can be a little tricky, as you'll need to determine the original value of each card; the remaining pips on the torn cards are NOT the numbers you'll be using! If you're familiar with how playing cards look, this shouldn't be too hard.
Here's a hint: the "Hearts" card shouldn't be read as "6", but "9" as arrangement of the pips will match the 9 of Hearts. Unfortunately you might get thrown off by the Queen of Spades. You'll be forgiven if you think it's 10 (because of Blackjack), but remember these are POKER cards; here it's actually "12", as it will be in other games like Five Crowns.
Now interact with the Clock again, and adjust the three hands match the values you guessed from the cards.
Move the Red Hand to "XII" (12)Move the Yellow Hand to "IX" (9)
Move the Green Hand to "V" (5)
Seriously, don't feel bad if you needed to look this one up, that darn Queen card has taken many a detective for a ride.
Grab the bottle of Prancing Creek that has appeared on the nearby cabinet. Again, note the number on the bottle!
Interact with the large Wine Rack to the left of entrance. In the Wine Rack interface, interact with the emply slots in the upper rows to place one of your wine bottles. To find out the correct positions, match the important numbers on your bottles with the numbers below the slots.
Place the Prancing Creek bottle into slot 2119
Place the Evenac-VSOP bottle into slot 4Correctly placing the two bottles in the top row. Note the numbers in the bottom. You should have three numbers.
You know what to do: return to the Clock and adjust the hands one last time to match these three numbers!
Move the Red Hand to "III" (3)Move the Yellow Hand to "V" (5)
Move the Green Hand to "VII" (7)
Grab the bottle of Boldore from nearby cabinet. Once again, note the number on the bottle!Return to the large Wine Rack and interact with it again. Place the bottle of Boldore in the newly empty slot between 2119 and 2131 in the upper row!
This will make an Empty Brandy Bottle appear. Grab it!
Go back to the far right side of the Cellar and interact with the caskets to fill up the Empty Brandy Bottle. You'll receive the Home-Brewed XO. Return to the large Wine Rack and interact with it again. Place the Home-Brewed XO in any empty slot in the upper row. The hidden door would open.Follow the stairs downward. When you reach the new area, simply head right. Watch the scenes.
Then interact with the button on the console to complete this sidequest!
Speak with Royde once more. Choose Go back for another drink with Royde if you don't have any more unfinished business, and confirm your choice one more time to complete Chapter 1. Congrats!
