What I expect from Project Mugen
912 View2024-10-16Funny thing: I actually confused this game with Zenless Zone Zero, so when it launched I was very disappointed that it wasn't like the trailer... Except it was, I was just thinking of the gorgeous Project Mugen trailer instead of the actual trailer for ZZZ.
In a world where anime games are either 2D strategy games like Girls Frontline, Arknights, Azur Lane, etc., visual novels (which there's a metric ton of, but I'm not complaining), or Hoyoverse/KURO games; Project Mugen stands out as something different and ever since I watched the trailer it has become my gold standard for what anime games should be like.
Really, all that I expect is for it to live up to the expectations it set with the trailer. I want it to be a giant open world set in a city, I want it to feel like Spiderman, I want as little loading screens as humanly possible, and I want a good story on top of that. But I think the most important thing I want is good optimisation. As another post said, this game looks like it will require a very powerful computer, but I think the devs can make it optimised enough to run on lower end devices, it's just a matter of deciding to do it, deciding to invest more time and care into this already gorgeous game. I hope the devs know that, if the game is poorly optimised, their game will die and they will lose money. Please, for the love of everything that is holy, don't fumble this one, devs!
I'm counting on you to deliver the most incredible anime game I will ever play.

Author likedZzZ it came out exactly as it was supposed to be, if you had the wrong ideas you didn't try the closed beta or didn't watch the trailers properly, Project Mugen is late, hugely late. With the imminent arrival of Neverness to Everness, will come to a bad end

as i said in the post, i thought the project mugen trailer was the zzz trailer, and that's why i got the wrong idea of how the game was supposed to be

who yaps so much for a damm video game? are you jobless? I just play when I want and if I don't like it, I leave it. who has free time to waste on some random app man. get a life. these anime games are too good anyways. if you hate it, go on and continue with your azur lane or whatever
