People are saying Project Mugen is dead because of Neverness to Everness but I don't understand how that could be a thing. They're very different games, with different pacing, different visuals, different everything. Sure, the core might be similar, that being an open world urban anime-style game but the similarities end there. Sadly, this type of confusion and misinformation always happens in the game industry, and people still think, for some unknown reason, that a game can kill another. A game can only kill itself or be killed by its studio. Competition is good, and it's not like people can't play more than one game. I myself have an extense steam library and my cellphone is also full of games, and I try to play all of them, at least a little bit. So please, stop this unfounded wave of misinformation. Try to think a bit. You'll realise the world is much more complex than we could ever imagine.
Absolutely agree with you. Sometimes what started as just a clickbait title, becomes what other people may strongly choose to believe

Author likedthe problem is everyone is afraid of netease because they are know to abandon a game really fast and when there are competition this fear will increase it even more. i played lots of games that was made under netease they make such good games but after 1 year they just let the game die.

Author likedpeople just like comparing games even its so irrelevant. always bias to there liking. True gamer doesn't compare but just shuts up and play and enjoy whatever the negative or positive side of the game. example is genshin fandom 🤣 compares every game like genshin was the first game ever released to have an open world theme
