I have a samsung galaxy a20, the model number is SM-S205DL. I've tried using taptap and downloading an apk from a website and neither work. I can start to install it but immediately it says "App not installed." I have enough storage for the game I'm pretty sure(like 2.4 gb free). can anyone help?

Try clean your storage space more than 5GB before install. Another thing that the game will take a disk size of ~18GB or more. So you may struggle low on space if your device is 32GB.

2.4GB is not enough for installation. I've tried that didn't work because when installing will copy the apk to internal that immediately cancels the installation because of low on space.
