From my perspective as a PC/Console gamer and a long time NFS fan, this is just another mediocre F2P iteration of the famous franchise.
BUT from a mobile gaming perspective, I'm actually glad that mobile gamers can now (soon globally) enjoy an actual open-world mobile NFS, and this is pretty good if compared to similar open-world racing titles on mobile.
Here's a few initial observation:
-Pretty generous for new players. Progression and missions structure are literally just like Racing Master, even the way the Ranked Games work. Plenty of game modes including a classic hot-pursuit-style races.
-Controls, handling, and physics are decent (CarX Street and Racing Master is still better when it comes to handling, this is way too arcadey for an NFS title). If anything, controls and handling slightly feels similar to Ace Racer.
-The open-world exploration, activities, and the overall art style are obviously based on NFS Unbound. I couldn't care less about the storyline but it keeps you engaged and progressing. Upgrades are straightforward and nothing too complicated.
That's it for now as I don't see myself playing this version in a long run, it'll eventually feel like a waste of time since I'd be moving to a global/SEA server anyways once it's released, and I won't be able to migrate my TW server progression over to that. This is still a very good mobile NFS title. Hoping that they can at least soon release a version with English language (similar to the JP release of Racing Master).

It is really based on Unbound. Think of it as a F2P version of it but with more arcadey controls.
