Silica has cool ideas, and some cool execution, but it’s still in a rough state after all this time. The UI feels a long way from finished, servers are still hit or miss, and it just doesn’t blend the two game modes in a satisfying way. It could come together, but it’s been long enough with the same issues that I think it’s fair to say we shouldn’t hold our breath during early access, but maybe the 1.0 release will the time to check back in.
