I really like Nexomon: Extinction and played/completed it on steam with about 60h+ of playtime but will only be giving it a rating of 4/5 since I felt like it was missing something. I loved the story and gameplay but the cartoonish artstyle just didn't capture me enough. Yes, I do like the designs of the Nexomon and the art is decent but it just didn't feel that cozy to me, which is something I always look for in monster-taming games. Also, in some areas it's a bit annoying to travel around, which sucks. Something I did really like though, was collecting/mining shards and using them to upgrade my nexomon with cores. I also loved collecting the endgame nexomon. In the end I still enjoyed it a lot and would say that it's definitely worth playing if you are into the monster-taming genre.
