A game in which you can be a hero or get anal pains. Welcome to the Squad.
This game is in the Arma genre. I do not know how they are similar, but Squad is easier in terms of mechanics and gameplay...
Let me tell you what awaits you:
1) Squad has a variety of troop options that you can play for (as well as mercenaries in the form of PMCs). You want to play for Turkey? Play for Turkey, Canada? You can do it too... The United States, Russia, the rebels, everyone who has anything to do with weapons (or at least the popular ones) will be in this game.
2) The variety of equipment here is very good, there is probably everything here: tanks, armored personnel carriers, armored vehicles, ATVs, motorcycles. Why am I listing it? I don't know myself, it's easier to say what is missing, but there are no planes, no ships, no heavy artillery here. It's kind of there, artillery, but I'll come back to that later. All this variety of equipment depends on which branch of the armed forces your team has chosen as a result of the voting. Tank army? You will have tanks (2-4 tanks). Infantry? Mainly light armored vehicles in the form of vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers.
3) The variety of classes and the distribution of squads. In any case, you will have a squad commander who has a common connection with the commander of the battle and other commanders of other squads, where the commander tells you what to do, and the commanders of other squads ask for any help. So, the classes... there are many of them here: medics, machine gunners, snipers, sappers, drivers, pilots (helicopter pilot, nothing else flies here), grenade launcher, etc.
4) My favorite is voice communication. Here, as I wrote earlier, you keep in touch between the commander, squad commanders and your squad. There is both a common short-range and long-range communication between the commanders, and the same topic is with their squad. There is only a short-range communication option between random fighters, or if you are in the same technique. In this game, voice communication serves for both fights and memes. For example: we are traveling with a friend in the desert with a random guy who played us songs from the cartoon "Shmeshariki", as well as music from Gachi-Muchi and, in principle, was just joking. Or, at the moment of waiting for the fight, some random type took out the flag of America (we played for them), and another turned on the Russian meme anime slogan "Sosat' America, Sosat' America". In general, funny happens very often.
5) In terms of graphics, although I am the owner of RTX and ray tracing, I can say that the graphics for this game could have been made better. I'm not saying that it's bad, but it was done qualitatively in terms of technical visual and sound - these are beautiful explosions and sounds. I don't fuck up graphics too much, so I don't care. After all, the main thing is not the graphics - but the gameplay itself.
6) Gameplay, it will be very brief here. There are several possible outcomes. Either you drive half an hour to the point of battle, fight like Rimbaud and kill everyone, or you arrive late and drive on, or you drive for half an hour, you are killed and you drive again for half an hour (the latter option happens most often).
7) Mods, as mentioned in paragraph 2, there are many techniques and maps here. But there are the kindest-hearted people - modelers. Which add new maps and new equipment to the game. On some map unknown to me, I was able to control a kamikaze drone, as well as see a large-caliber artillery "Begemot". Therefore, the modders are great, they bring us a new variety (by the way, the mods in this game are downloaded right in the game).
The final thing I don't like (but who cares?)
1)The card selection system and the type of army. Here, as well as in Battlefield, you will not play on a variety of maps. The map that most people like and the troops that most people like. All this will happen, diversity is 0.
