Choosing violence today, I guess. I had fun playing Concord, even if I feel it would have been better with the PvE mode. It’s unfortunate that it will be forever lazily referred to as an “Overwatch clone,” which ignores many of the differences/blends of other games, and aversion to many of the monetization traps that Gamers cry foul about in modern gaming. End of the day, though, it shows up as a bruise, especially now that the studio is closed, but it was nice to see a big company take a big swing on a new IP. Even pulling the ripcord early rather than languishing in mediocrity could be lauded. Turns out we all played Concord for free anyway.
