It's a pretty decent game I'm ngl, graphics are fine, artstyle is neat, gameplay is ok,the music is good, there are a lot of areas you can unlock and traverse, excellent amount of items and cards for build and playstyle variance etc.
With that said, I found the semi paywall and P2P (pay to play)elements a bit obnoxious. I'm not really a fan of games having in app purchases outside of cosmetics. Certain characters and card packs (i.e. the moves or cards your selected hero can get) are straight up barred behind IAPs that require real money.I purchased the game and even the pass that doubles exp and gold gain as entire areas are locked behind purchases which thankfully only need in game currency. (Due to the otherwise slow rate at which you can earn gold) Overall however, I was still left a bit miffed by the experience on this end.
Apologies for the mini rant, but games having gameplay limiting paywalls just really grind my gears. That aside, I'm willing to give this one a soft pass since it IS a mobile game after all, a platform which isn't exactly filled with quality games frankly speaking. At the very least this one isn't a cheap cash grab or a gacha and the game is not only very much playable f2p but also doesn't demand too much money out of you if you do decide it's worth spending on.
If you're looking for a turn based deck style game with soft rouge like elements give this one a shot. It's not filled with mtx (microtransactions) and is overall a solid time passer as far as mobile games go, certainly no masterpiece but a fairly fun game nonetheless.
