Hearthstone Provides a New Gaming Experience with Its Mercenaries Mode

Hearthstone Mercenaries is releasing worldwide on October 12. 

In case you didn't know, this new mode combines RPG and roguelike elements and provides a new way to play Hearthstone.

Game Director Ben Lee, Game Designer Joe Killion, and U.I. Designer Hasiba Arshad introduced this new mode during yesterday's showcase.

When you enter the Mercenaries mode, you will be taken to the Village, where you can manage your Mercenaries, prepare for Bounties, check the Task Board, and more.

You will start with eight Mercenary characters; You can create your Mercenary squad at the Village and then sending them off on a Bounty or a competitive match against other players.

There are three major types of Mercenaries: Fighters (deal major damages to your enemies), Casters (cast powerful spells) and Protectors (tanks & support).

It is worth mentioning that more than 50 Mercenaries, including Blizzard's iconic character - Diablo, are to be added in this new mode.
