Games worth discovering

The story is a nice break from ancient China or medieval times, but the minor differences created by the Tomb Raider theme are not enough to break free of being just another clone.
The graphics are average for a game made a few years ago, but the animations are glitchy and show little effort in blending the scenes together. The dialog sounds like it was recorded at different volumes and quality levels. At one point, a character randomly changed from English to Chinese for a few lines before returning to English. The text appears to be written using proper grammar and spelling, so it is possible to get by with the volume muted.
Everything about this game seems like it was thrown together without much testing. For a genre with so many games, it takes a lot more than a different story to outweigh the competition.
