David Szymanski does it again. It's much more than the spirit of Condemned, but that would have been good enough. It's a gritty melee fighter in the dangerous and brutal halls of what is basically a cult compound. There are unique mechanics such as taking photos of the brutality to heal, and giving you other uses for the limited resource you use to save. The combat is fairly basic, but that doesn't mean it's dissatisfying, because it's just a good time wreckin' shop on these "serial torturers." It's short and sweet (about 2 hours or so on the long end), and I can't get enough. The only real negative I have is that it feels like I've seen most of these environments already in The Pony Factory.
