Liar’s Bar is not a particularly complex game. It has two pub games to play for up to four players online; one is a version of the card game cheat, and the other is a dice game where you need to predict how many of a certain number the entire group has rolled. But for some reason I, as are many others, am obsessed with it, thanks to the excellent execution of the simple concept.

From the moment you boot up Liar’s Bar it just feels good. The visual style, character models and animation are a step above what you would usually expect from a janky social deception game, but there’s enough room for expression and physical comedy that it still has that style of charm.
