INTRODUCTION

I play Days of Planet Earth for some time now. This game is different from other games I play before. It make me feel many emotions – sometimes sad, sometimes happy, sometimes scared. I want to share my experience so maybe you know if you like this game or not. My English not so good, but I try my best.

FIRST FEELING

When I start game, I see world is broken. Everything feel empty, like something bad happen before. The colors in game are not bright, everything look like end of the world. It make me feel small, like I am just a little person in big, dangerous place. I like this feeling. It make game feel real.

The music is also very good. It is not loud or fast, it is slow and sometimes sad. It make me think about life and world. I don’t see many games do this, so I like it a lot.

GAMEPLAY

The game is about surviving in world that is almost dead. You walk around, find things, and try to stay alive. But it is not easy. Sometimes you have no food, sometimes you have no place to sleep. There are also dangers, so you must be careful.

One thing I like is the choices. You can decide what to do, and it change what happen next. Sometimes I make good choice, sometimes bad. If I make mistake, it can make game very hard. This make every choice feel important.

The world is big, and I feel lost sometimes. But I like exploring, because I always find something new. Maybe it is a place where people lived before, maybe it is a story from past, maybe it is danger.

There is also crafting and building. You can make things to help you survive. At first, I not good at it, but after some time, I learn. You need to collect things and think about what is most important to make. If you don’t plan, you have big problem later.

HARD or EASY?

This game is not easy. You must always think about food, water, and danger. Sometimes, I think I am safe, but then something bad happen. It is like real survival. You cannot just fight everything. Sometimes you must run, sometimes you must hide.

Some parts of game feel too difficult, like enemies that are too strong. I die many times and sometimes feel a little frustrated. But after I learn more, it become easier.

I really like Days of Planet Earth. It is not like other games. It make me feel like I am really trying to survive in broken world. But it is not for everyone. If you want fast action, maybe not for you. But if you like deep story and hard survival, you should try.
