It has everything that a classic KOF battle has-from complex combat mechanics to an extensive roster of fighters to arcade-style action-all played out on a small screen. But does it achieve that feeling, or does it become truly limited by the mobile format?

At its core, KOF-A 2012(F) is a 2D fighting game, but with a old school flavor: traditional team-based fighting, where players create a 3-fighter team and fight them in a frantic contest. Combos, special moves, and devastating super attacks require exact button presses.
