Do you want to become like your favorite vigilante, descending from above into a three-point landing to dish out justice? Well, congratulations, you have found the booty.
Ayaka will now educate you on the proper execution of a Skydrop Shot.
Skydrop Shot is, in essence, firing while descending from the sky. But first, let’s look at all the ways of flying:
1. Via mounts like the UFO, Silly Dragon, etc.
2. Via displacement items like Teleport Capsule, Teleport Cannon, Hook, etc.
3. Via displacement skills from Orb Legend Card and Flight Wings Legend Card
4. Via activating Gyroglider while dropping from an altitude
Now that we’ve categorized these, what do we do with this information?
You should take aim in advance. Due to the short time between the drop and landing, you need to be quick and precise with your aim. It’s not an easy skill to master, but practice makes perfect. When flying, train your crosshair at your target. The moment you descend, aim down your scope and fire. When Skydrop Shooting, you should constantly raise your aim to compensate for your descent. The speed with which you raise your aim depends on your distance to the target.
In the video below, we teleported ourselves into mid-air with a Teleport Capsule, and performed a Skydrop Shot after cancelling Gyroglider: Another thing of note:
1. Before taking to the skies, make sure you assess the enemy. If they’re in a group, you might make yourself a vulnerable target in the sky.
2. Try to get behind cover when you land. Note that if you use Gyroglider from behind cover, you should leave yourself some room to hide when you land.
3. If you’re using Skydrop Shot with a mount, try to make sure there is cover in front of you after landing. Avoid using Skydrop Shot while over a river.
I hope you got all that. You can practice on a target in the Training Grounds using a flying mount or displacement item!
Lastly, we welcome everyone to comment on their ways of dealing with Skydrop Shots. That’s all for this episode, Ciao, I’ll see you on the battlefield!
