Idk why people are saying it's free to play. Your options are to play with a GTA+ membership (which isnt free), purchase the full game for $6.99 (not bad, but still not free) or play for free for 30 minutes. So..in conclusion, there's a free 30 minute demo, after which you'd have to make a purchase to continue the experience, unless you're already a GTA+ member.
As far as the gameplay goes, it's pretty decent on my phone, which isn't anything particularly fancy. Samsung galaxy something-or-other, but it's older. Graphics are old school, so if you're looking for a mobile experience akin to GTA5, this is NOT the game you want. But if you don't mind the graphics or they give you a bit of a nostalgia trip, if you're a fellow 90s kid, it might be worth the 6.99
