Humans:
Humans are the most numerous intelligent race on the continent of Novices, dominating the land as the ruling species. During the Great Migration, various groups of humans established numerous powers, and after hundreds of years of evolution, five major nations emerged. Among them, four of the five are ruled by humans, with the most powerful being the Gordondas Empire, which sits in the southern part of the continent. The long-standing north-south division has led to cultural differences between the two regions. The northern nations adhere to the ancient Lothian Faith, and due to resource scarcity, they have been in a constant state of war, making the general populace more barbaric. In contrast, the southern empire's citizens predominantly follow the newer Essos Faith, and the presence of the imperial court provides a sense of order and structure. However, court politics are extremely cutthroat and competitive.

Elves:
The Iatirul are an intelligent race on Novices, referred to by humans as elves. After the destruction of the Old World, the surviving elves migrated to Novices alongside humans during the Great Migration. The elves have preserved many of their ancient customs, with a relatively primitive lifestyle, excelling in fields like sorcery and beast-taming, particularly the training of griffon dragons. They also adopted many human ways of life. Most elves prefer to live in forests or high mountains, where they have established many settlements and cities. Some also live within human cities. While their relations with humans are close, and they have adopted human beliefs and political systems, the northern kingdom of Notowa is an elven-controlled nation where the majority of the population consists of elves and orcs.

Orcs:
The Enlayans, referred to by humans as orcs, are a race similar to elves. After the destruction of the Old World, they migrated with the humans, adapting to their new environment. Orcs generally live in forests, leading a barbaric lifestyle, valuing strength and excelling at beast-taming, particularly the dire wolves. They live primarily in tribal groups, but many orcs have integrated into human society, adopting a lifestyle of hunting and fishing. The orcs have long since embraced human beliefs and maintain close relations with humans. Their tribes are scattered throughout the continent’s various nations, and over long periods of history, they have adapted to the organizational systems of the human nations.
