After throwing a John Wick movie marathon last night, it definitely has left me high and dry. Without an outlet for the adrenaline pumping through my body, a sudden feeling of restlessness rose within me in just a mere span of a few moments.
Tamping down the thoughts that were flashing across my mind, I simply grabbed the nearest object within reach — my smartphone. Overcome by my sheer laziness, I immediately scratched off workout from the list and set off on a search for a mobile game that could allow me to veg out some of that good ol’ mindless gun-fu. Good Lord, what have I done to myself?
All in all, My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge (MFP) is an arcadey shoot ’em up platformer that is all about those inventive John-Wick-esque ways of using the surrounding environment to gun down bad guys.

Under the tutelage of your floating (trusty?) fruity friend, Pedro, you will embark on a bullet-riddled journey of some ice-cold revenge following the fruit-napping of his family. Oh, boy! Now, I’ve seen everything!
In the beginning, you may find a steep learning curve when it comes to familiarising yourself with the controls (Trust me, it’ll get better in time). Even so, that doesn’t stop me from going bananas and performing an array of stylish parkour tricks as I rain down fiery bullets in slo-mo onto unsuspecting goons (while cackling maniacally, of course).

As fun as that sounds, just be prepared to hit replay... a lot.
Although each stage may last for around 5 minutes, I've come to realise that it may take a while to nail that perfect score, but it’s well worth it when you actually pull one off. What’s more, nothing beats catching a glimpse (or two) of goofy Pedro when I pull off a string of kills, IMO.

Anyway, it has been hours, and I’m still playing MFP instead of writing about the game because I’m still short of a good screenshot (At least that’s what I’ve been telling myself). But don’t take my word for it — head over here and try it out for yourself today! Don’t dally now, as your friend, Pedro, needs you!

My Friend Pedro:Engage in a thrilling yet casual experience
Experience the classic action platformer on your mobile Starting with the My Friend Pedro review the gameplay is pretty damn cool. There’s a story to shape the adventure, bad guys, guns, explosives, skateboards, bikes, and more! Players control their character who is helping his friend out (who happens to be a banana) with getting his kidnapped wife and kids back from the bad guys of this story. The gameplay is fluid and smooth and despite being a casual title, it’s actually pretty damn thrilling! Remember though, you only have three lives so it’s best to practice and gain the ability to instantly take down enemies on sight. The character is equipped with guns and they keep getting better as you play through (and you can dual wield!) and parkour your way through levels while also taking out enemies.

Bullet Time Fun with Guns and Talking Bananas – My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge Review
Developed by DeadToast Entertainment, My Friend Pedro cast players into a hyperkinetic action-shooter that blended Deadpool and Max Payne. When it was released in 2019, the bullet-time firefights were plentiful, and it built up a bit of a cult following. A couple years after that high-octane introduction, the developers at DeadToast saw fit to bring the Pedro experience to mobile devices in the form of
