In the game, Islanders can always find various types of weapon sights. However, would that overwhelm you with choices, paralyzing you with indecision?

In this episode, allow the resident Battle Royale expert and yours truly, Ayaka, give you insights and analysis on various types of weapon sights.

Let’s look at them in the order of their magnification powers:

Red Dot Sight:

Holographic Sight:

Both sights can be attached to most firearms to improve aiming speed. Your view is magnified by 1.5 times, making them ideal for engaging enemies at 20-30 meters. Beyond 40 meters, it is recommended to switch to a scope with higher magnifying power.

The only difference between these two are that Red Dot Sight has a lower zoom but maintains a wider field of view, while Holographic Sight has a higher zoom at the expense of a narrower field of view.

2x Scope3x Scope

The 2x Scope and 3x Scope are both mid-range scopes and are suited to targets at 50-80 meters. When the enemies are too far for iron sights, either of these scopes will suffice.

3x Scopes have an advantage over 2x Scopes in terms of magnifying power, but you will feel the effects of recoil more as a result. 2x Scopes have a wider field of view than 3x Scopes. When using either scope, new players are recommended to use single shot fire.

4x Scope

6x Scope

8x Scope

15x Scope

Generally, 4x scopes and 6x scopes are used with assault rifles, marksman rifles, and sniper rifles, and are suitable for engagements at 100-200 meters. The 6x scope is more difficult to maintain recoil control with compared to the 4x scope, but affords you tremendous accuracy with single shot fire at long range. It can also be adjusted to 3x magnification on marksman rifles for superior performance over assault rifles.

The 8x and 15x scopes are currently only compatible with sniper rifles and charged cannons, and are both suitable for targets up to 300 meters away. Given the extreme range, understanding bullet drop is critical.

This set is popular among players, particularly with newer players who want to better control weapon recoil. For players who are not familiar with rifles, attaching the holo sight to an assault rifle and the scope to a marksman rifle is ideal.

Red Dot Sight + 4x Scope + 8x Scope

Players who like to snipe enemies from afar need superior marksmanship and confidence. This set allows players to deal with enemies at close range with the aid of the Red Dot Sight, while switching between 4x and 8x Scopes to deal with enemies at greater range. Because of the specialized nature of this setup, players will need to constantly assess changing battlefield conditions.

3. Berserker Set (🌟🌟🌟)

Red Dot Sight + Holographic Sight + 3x Scope

With no shortage of players who enjoy an intense shootout, this set is the perfect complement for high-octane carnage. The Red Dot Sight is suitable for extremely close-range engagements, while the Holographic Sight is for you to handle unexpected fights at almost any range. For good measure, the 3x Scope is great for longer ranged engagements.
