"A fun and goofy school bus simulator game which has much more than school busses to offer to you"
🎮 Gameplay: The physics and overall gameplay are impressively smooth.
You've got a variety of missions: school trips, parking challenges, driving school tests, and more, all set within a semi-open city map. On top of that, there's even a safari park map with themed vehicles and sightseeing missions.
One downside? The game forces you to stay online so they can shove ads in your face. It’s a stinky implementation, ngl. [6/10]
🕹️ Controls: You’ve got the holy trio: steering wheel, arrow buttons, and tilt. No major issues or flaws here. I do wish they included slider-style pedals, but it’s not a huge deal. [8.6/10]
🗺️ Map Design: The game features both a city map and a safari park. They’re not massive, but for a title that dropped over 7 years ago? Totally decent. The city map actually feels pretty alive, with NPCs walking around and doing different actions. Nice touch [7.2/10]
🚀 Travel & Transportation: This is where the game flexes a bit, easily 100+ vehicles, from sedans to sports coupes to goofy concept rides. You can actually run school missions with any of them, which is kind of hilarious.
But most of them sound and handle exactly the same. So unlocking a new ride doesn’t feel as rewarding as it should.. [8.1/10]
🎨 Graphics: The graphics are mid. But if you remember this came out at least 7+ years ago, it’s kind of forgivable. The visuals don’t hold up today, but the gameplay does enough to carry the experience. [7.7/10]
🎖️ Progression System: The grind is pure hell. You barely get scraps after missions, and when you look at the cost of vehicles, it's rough. Plus, a lot of them are locked behind microtransactions. [4.2/10]
👍 Pros:
- Huge selection of vehicles (not just busses)
- Two maps
👎 Cons:
- Vehicles behind paywall
- Too grindy
- Not offline
- Same speed and sounds for vehicles
💖 Overall Experience: It’s a fun little time-killer. Both maps can be explored in under 30 minutes, so the core experience is over fast, but the variety of missions can keep you entertained for a bit longer. Just don’t expect to grind all the way through the vehicle list unless you’re really committed. Not built for long-term investment, but definitely worth a quick spin. [6/10]
