First of all, it's only in Japanese, but you don't need a VPN.
Before it came out, I was really looking forward to the combination of sci-fi background and Japanese RPG. But after I played for half an hour, I felt kinda disappointed.
Here's what I like about it. As a Square Enix game, its style is very attractive to me, specifically the future sci-fi background, in addition to the game's battle music, which makes me feel like I'm playing a classic Japanese RPG. Whenever you can move around in the basement full of tech before starting the mission, it reminds me of playing PS2, PSP games. (Like the Gundam series, Busou Shinki, God Eater series)
The bad part is the whole game interface, including the character's 3D, is really low-quality. It's a semi-automatic battle on a rectangular field with some settings like using chain skills or breaking the enemy to cause massive damage, but it's not really fun and you can just fight automatically.
Like most Japanese mobile games, there is a counter system in which each unit has either a physical, technical or mental attribute, they work as counters to each other. Nothing special, I've played too many.
Due to the fact that the game has a gacha system, I'm more satisfied with the 5% chance of getting the SSR character.
I am writing this review based on my limited gameplay, so I do suggest you play further if you are interested in this type. 4 stars because I do really enjoy the music. Anyway, I guess the game will be in English in the future.
