Do you always hope to acquire Level 3 Body Armor and helmet, along with your favorite weapon, whenever you enter the battlefield?
Reality, on the other hand, is cruel and unforgiving, especially when multiple players are vying for this equipment like you. If you don’t effectively scavenge for these things, then it’s GG until the next match!
No worries, your resident Battle Royale prodigy Ayaka is here to enlighten you on the way to get ahead of your rivals—Skydiving!

Upon entering the battlefield, you should always confirm the airbus’s flight route to determine a scavenging spot that suits you. Normally, heavily urban areas with many buildings tend to contain more equipment.
When timing your dive, consider that while the shortest route is technically the vertical distance between the marked location and the airbus, the fastest route is to descend diagonally from  2000m away!
In Sausage Man, gravity does not affect acceleration, so the notion that skydiving vertically would be the quickest is moot on Sausage Island.
From the video, we can see that it does not matter whether we’re diving horizontally or diagonally. The vertical height indicator on the right is descending at a consistent rate.

In the picture, the arrow shows the airbus’s flightpath. The perpendicular distance to the ground is the same between points A and B, with point B being directly above the target location.
Just looking at the displacement from the airbus to the target location, the distance to target from point A is further than from point B. However, by the time the airbus reaches point B, those who dived at point A would be almost to the target by the time those who dive at point B even begin their descent. Therefore, it is faster to dive at a diagonal approach from point A rather than a vertical approach from point B.
After making your dive, align your direction toward the yellow marker on your target location and fine-tune your descending angle in the process.
If your target is beyond the optimal 2000m, you can jump anyway and glide horizontally towards the target, opening your parachute once you are close. Try to land on a roof or near cover to avoid being killed instantly by someone on the ground.
That’s it for skydiving tactics in this episode! If you have your own insights into this, share them in the comments.
See you on the battlefield!

I would like to make a suggestion, to put a "distance number" (for example, i marked a location then it will show 2000m) when we mark locations in map.  ID: adiulz IGN: DD•Soseyji

Hello Ritzleonard, there is a distance indicator, it is shown in tight behind the marker.

I always dive like this, if I drop looking directly at the ground, I'll have to spin around just to perfectly land on where want to xD

Yet another aerial target—Paratroopers!
Paratroopers use their homemade handgliders to fly at low altitudes, thus bypassing dangerous ground traps. Yet, due to the low altitude their gliders fly at, they still fall for aerial traps. Another question is WHERE they'll eventually land, as at their current level of technology they cannot control the direction of the wind very well. Anyways, these details are meaningless - you soon will find them stuck in tree branches, on the tree tops, and even on the clothes rack.[b][i][u]
