Infinity Kingdom: Immortal Lineup Guide (Water, Earth, Fire, Lighting and Wind)

EachImmortal in Infinity Kingdom has unique skills and effects. Hence, they also have different uses in battle. To ensure victory in every battle, just upgrading your attributes and abilities isn't enough. You also have to be strategic in how you use your Immortals. There is a lot of depth to this part of gameplay. Today, I'll be sharing some tips on how to choose the right Immortal lineup.

Elemental Strengths and Vulnerabilities

Immortals and Dragons come in seven different elements: Holy, Shadow, Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, and Earth. Each element is strong and weak against the other elements, as follows:

Immortals also come in four different troop types: Spearmen, Cavalry, Shieldmen, and Bowmen. Spearmen, Cavalry, and Shieldmen are in the front row, while Bowmen must be in the back row. The strengths and vulnerabilities of each troop type is as follows:

Elemental Team Bonuses[/b]

Currently, each team consists of four Immortals and a Dragon. The more Immortals and Dragons of the same element are deployed, the greater the bonus the team will receive, as follows:

I should mention that all of these bonuses stack! So, if you have 5 units of the same element, the troop will receive all of the bonus effects listed above. This means that you should try your best to develop units of the same element.

Early Game and Late Game Lineups

Water

When you're first starting out in the game, you can choose to develop Immortals based on your current needs and capabilities. However, if you want to get the highest value with a limited spend you should focus on training a Water troop. Without any spending, you can choose Brynhild and Lancelot for your front row, and replace them with HaraldIII and Eulji Mundeok if you draw them at the Hall of Immortals. For the back row, you can choose Helen of Troy and Tomoe Gozen and replace her with Yoshitsunelater.

If you don't mind spending some money, you can buy three packs from the Daily Bundles for US$6 (or buy the US$0.99 pack from the Daily Bundles over four days), then use 20 Mystery Pearls to redeem an Epic Immortal Selection Chest, and choose Attila the Hun. As you have spent money, you can also claim a first-purchase gift pack which includes Merlin. This means you can use Attila the Hun and Brynhild in your front row, you can also choose to buy a US$14.99 CrownedKing pack which includes Ramesses II. In your back row, you can use Merlin and Helen of Troy then use Yoshitsune.

After obtaining a complete Immortal, you can use Soul Crystal and Gems to buy Immortal Fragments in the Market and raise a powerful Water troop!

How to obtain Immortal:

You also obtain a Water Dragon Egg when you complete the tutorial. WaterDragon Crystals are sometimes sold in the Market, or found in chests dropped by bosses.

You can upgrade Dragons to unlock new skills, and increase your unit's attribute bonuses. You can also use

Dragon Soul Crystals to level up your Dragon. More information about dragons can be found in official guides.

Earth

If you don’t mind invest for team, you can start with a Water troop and quickly move to Earth troop. If you manage to draw Cleopatra at the Hall of Immortals early in the game, you can immediately start focusing

on building an Earth troop. For this team, you can use Alexander Great and Boudicca as the front row and change her when you have Leonidas. Choose Cleopatra and Isabella of Castile as the back row and change Isabella when you have Zenobia.

I also recommend Charles the Great, he is a really powerful immortal in earth element. Although the overall cost is higher than the Water troop, the benefits are also higher.

You will receive an EarthDragon Egg when you complete the Story Mission Chapter 7.

Lightning

Once your early-game lineup is more or less developed, you can start building up other lineups if you have the ability. This will allow you to approach the game in different ways.

For Lightning troop, I’ll recommend William Wallace and El Cid as the front row, Abaoji and Yi Seong-gye as the back row at early age when you don’t have enough Epic Immortals.

Once you have Peter the Great of Richard Ⅰ, you can let Wallace reset, and leave El Cid in first row. His energy skill conquest can backfire, which is powerful. For the back row, you can choose Genghis Khan to take place Abaoji.

Here is how to obtain these Immortals:You will obtain a LightningDragon Egg when you complete the story mission Chapter 10.

Fire

The development of the FireTroop is relatively late, because the chance to get one of the core of the fire

team, Empress Wu, is at the end of the first season of the arena or the first Contention of Relics.

The suggestions for pre-Firetroop is to do it after summon Hippolyta and Ashoka. For the front line, you can

choose Hippolyta and Spartacus first, and choose Ashoka and Edward as back row. During the middle age, the troop can be replaced with the better obtained Epic Immortal Frederick I. Finally, use Empress Wu and William Ⅰ to form a complete team.

Even if you don't want to use the fire troop, I still suggest to level up Hippolyta, as her energy skill Flaming Smite will reducing enemy energy by 100 and attack speed by 10%. This is a great aid when passing the Well of Time boss.

You will obtain a FireDragon Egg when you complete the story mission Chapter 15.

Wind

In the early stage of wind troop training, you can choose Moctezuma Ⅰ as the base, with Mulan, Saladin and Qin Emperor.In the later process, you can choose Baldwin IV and Hannibal Barca to replace elite immortals. The wind team has a complete set of magical damage and physical damage, and has a support immortal which making it a complete team.

To sum up what we've learned, as a main troop, Water troop offers the best value, but Earth troop is preferable if you want a stronger overall team. Taking elemental strengths and weaknesses into consideration is always important.

Of course, you don't have to limit yourselves to the Immortals I've recommended above. Every Immortal in Infinity Kingdom has unique abilities that offer different uses in battle. It's also a good idea to consult rank board teams while doing your own research.
