Your Kingdom. Your Rules. Your Consequences - Yes, Your Grace [QUICK REVIEW]

84 View2025-06-17
"A heavily story-driven game where you, as a king, have to make crucial decisions for your kingdom to prosper."
🎮 Gameplay: You play as a king, making decisions that can make or break your kingdom. You need to allocate resources wisely, these come from taxes and other sources, and use them to improve both your land and your people’s well-being. But remember, saving resources can sometimes mean disappointing your civilians. Tough choices are inevitable. [9/10]
📖 Storyline: From the very beginning, the story is incredibly engaging. It constantly makes you wonder what’s coming next, exactly what a story-driven game should do. You’re stepping into the shoes of a king preparing for an inevitable war against an unknown threat. (No more spoilers!) [9/10]
đź’¬ Dialogue & Writing: The character dialogues are executed pretty well, giving life to the interactions. However, there are a few instances where some conversations repeat without any variation. [8.6/10]
🎨 Graphics: The pixel-art style is cute and totally fits the vibe of the game. It adds charm without feeling dated or cheap. [9.2/10]
🎧 Sound: The music and sound design are spot on, no complaints at all. Every sound fits perfectly and enhances the atmosphere.  [9.4/10]
🎖️ Progression System: You make decisions based on requests brought to you by your people. As you progress, you interact with different characters. Each week, you’re given a set number of interactions and choices, and once those are done, you move on to the next week. The loop repeats, but with new people, new situations, and new dilemmas. [9.1/10]
👍 Pros:
  1. Strong narrative and atmosphere
  2. Beautiful pixel art
  3. Tough but meaningful decision-making
  4. Excellent sound design
👎 Cons:
  1. Pretty much nothing aside from the little to non existent dialogue repetitions.
💖 Overall Experience: This is a great pick if you’re looking for a chill, story-rich game that doesn’t demand quick reflexes or competitive grind. The story starts off strong, whether it ends on a happy or tragic note is something I don't know as of now but, it’s shaping up to be well worth the ride. [9.1/10]
