386 View2021-10-18While waiting for Diablo Immortal this is a pretty good ARPG alternative and here is my thoughts on the test.
What I thought was Good - Ok so the sound design and world itself seems pretty well put together if not complete, the campaign tutorial and quests was fine for this test. The cut scenes are voiced, albeit Korean. The combat was okay. Skills and abilities are kinda OP but this is cool coz taking on mobs made me feel like a boss. Kinda easy. But then again this is only the first few levels so it's going to be challenging.
What was so so - Graphically it could be nicer. But don't get me wrong as it was already very nice but I wanted more. Character creation was limiting, but in a isometric game what's the point right?
What I didn't like - The control system felt was a bit clunky, like the buttons didn't give any leeway, you had to hit directly on the button for both attacks and movement, you simply had to be precise. Aiming at your enemy is needed. Duh.
Overall I think this is going to be pretty good there's already a few ARPG games out there but this one will be a nice addition for Diablo and Titan Quest fans.

Seema solid so far. Lack of visuals on gear is disappointing...these ARPG games thrive on seeing the sweet gear your character earns. Maybe it will be added, but the store has skins so maybe not. Lack of skills in start is dull. Need to have more various skills at the start to keep gameplay interesting. Good start, but needs polish. DIABLO IMMORTAL has got it beat in tons of ways, but I can see this surpassing it if they work more on it!
