SHOULD I PLAY BIBOTS? Play it if you’re looking for an Enter the Gungeon-style roguelite for your mobile device. Bibots is a simple but demanding little top-down shooter, and if you’ve ever gotten hooked on games like The Binding of Isaac, the format will be instantly familiar. TIME PLAYED I’ve played about an hour and a half of the Android version of Bibots, but I’m still learning my way around the first biome. Like I mentioned before, it’s a pretty demanding game, and I’m still getting used to the touch controls, which felt a bit too slippery for the kind of precision movement I needed to pull off in rooms that had more than a couple of enemies in them. There’s plenty to unlock, but so far I’ve leveled my first character up to level four.

Bibots is a roguelite dungeon crawler shooter where players take on the role of a warrior that can pilot mech armors called Bibots. The gameplay mechanics in Bibots follow a classic twin-stick shooter formula: character movement is controlled using the left stick, while aiming and shooting are executed with the right stick. A well-timed dodge mechanic proves crucial for evading enemy projectiles, and the inclusion of obtainable secondary attacks, like grenades or flying discs, adds tactical depth. The main event, however, is the titular Bibot-summoning special ability. Game is amazing in terms of graphics and gameplay but mobile control are not so great when it comes to shooting enemies

Just watching the character shoot looks enjoyable. And I like that it has many locations. While watching some of its gameplay videos (pc version), the character in the thumbnails reminds me of majin buu of dragon ball, a cute version though L.O.L. I think this game has a lot of potential. I'll tell my son to pre-register for this game too, because I know that he would love to try it!

Bibots is an absolute blast to play! The top-down shooter gameplay combined with the futuristic world setting creates an immersive and exciting experience. The controls are smooth and responsive, allowing for precise movements and satisfying combat. The rogue-lite elements add a layer of replayability, as each run feels unique and challenging.

Awesome looking game but way too easy, just beat a run with 2 other attempts. Games like dead cells took me a bunch of attempts and I had to unlock a bunch of stuff before getting a winning run. Didn't apply here. There also dosent seem to be that much content. I hope the game isn't finished and there will be updates. (Unless I missed stuff, but didn't seem like beating the game unlocked anything new like a new difficulty mode or anything)

This one can be enjoyed by all types of players. The games keep track of a player's current run time and they can see it anytime they play. The faster the players clean the levels, the more they will be rewarded with bonuses corresponding to their fast play style. I think is one of the top-down shooter rogue-lite emphasising bullet hell action this year. Either you can switch between two characters, explore clear areas full of monsters, unlock abilities, customize your characters, die, learn and retry to save the world.

A top-down shooter rogue-like set in a futuristic world. It’s too bad because Supergiant Games released wonderful ports of their first two games on iOS (Bastion and Transistor). I’m not a big fan of Rogue-likes, but it would be great to see Hades on mobile (with controller support, of course).
