It is best to wait till the devs work on the necessary QoL adjustments that make the game less stressful in terms of player retention, especially if you stop playing halfway through one day and come back the next because your file may become corrupted causing crashes until you start a new run or a new save if you're from EA. They have made significant progress in resolving as many of these issues as quickly as possible, while also continually updating the game with many patches on a daily basis, which is commendable for such a small team of 5 developers.

The Aliens franchise has a bumpy track record, but this title manages to capture the feeling of the 1986 film while still delivering a satisfying game. I encountered a few bugs during my playtime, but they weren’t a major problem, and I can confidently recommend this game in its current state. I’m a huge fan of both Aliens and strategy games, so this title was tailor-made for me, but it’s accessible enough to appeal to a much wider audience.
