The economics, resource management, diplomacy, espionage, research and building wonders and occupying and colonizing settlements, religion, culture and science and commerce and trade from the ancient age through the space age is an absolute blast which requires deep strategic planning. This game has a high learning curve and there are endless possible seeded maps generated by each game making each game feel fresh with new scenarios and events that occur as each game is a random selection of civillizations the AI or other players uses also the geography of the world map changes. You can start at a plain in one game and secluded in a land locked island the next game. This is the only strategy game that has masterfully encapsulated all the most complex parts of society and even trading and careful diplomacy and organizational changes civillizations go through as they progress and it is beaultiful to see this living breathing world come to life. I bought the base game and the first dlc and im planning to fully support and buy all other DLC expansions. It is best to wait till the devs work on the necessary QoL adjustments that make the game less stressful in terms of player retention, especially if you stop playing halfway through one day and come back the next because your file may become corrupted causing crashes until you start a new run or a new save if you're from EA. They have made significant progress in resolving as many of these issues as quickly as possible, while also continually updating the game with many patches on a daily basis, which is commendable for such a small team of 5 developers.

After doing the math, I was flabbergasted to see how generous this game is. Been a long time player, I know that this game has to be one of the most generous gacha I've played, but I did not expect them to be this generous. What is Path to Nowhere? Path to Nowhere is a 2 year old gacha game but it's not that well known outside of gacha community. The game is set in post apocalyptic world where we run a prison or maybe more of a rehabilitation center. We arrest this so called "sinners" which is basically like mutants from X-Men and take them to battle in a tower defense gameplay that plays very differently to normal tower defense if you play the game until the endgame.

This creates a highly unfair advantage for those who are willing to spend $100 to significantly increase their damage output, resulting in a game that heavily favors those who pay to win, since each card gets stronger the more you level them.
