I have been searching for a good deep and complex strategy game in mobile that isnt P2W and doesnt get stale and i have found it. Through the ages is a masterfully done digital adaptation of the award winning game board by game designer Vlaada it is a unique digital adaptation as it has taken the phyiscal strategic board game and translated it into an even better digital strategy game :) This game has endless replayability as you take control of a civillization and develop them economically politically and even has war and conquests. This games has realistic elements that reflect modern sociesties today like corruption/dissatisfaction of the people, provocations, uprising, food and resource scarcity etc that no other strategy game in mobile game has ever accomplished to do. Its a very non linear approach to telling your own civillizations story and culture spanning the ages. Adding to this is the ability to choose historical advisers which have abilities that help you develop this civillizations economically, politically or militarily. Then there are also ancient wonders you can build that requires a stage by stage development and careful management of resources. This game is an absolute masterpiece that needs to be played by every strategy game lover. Its like a whole civillization RTS game condensed to a digital board game adaptation with more intricate complex strategic depth than any strategy game in mobile. So for the most part I really like this game the characters and story line is easy to get into and the game has interesting fundamentals..graphics are decent and I wanted to play this when I was little but didn't for some reason just wasn't there yet and now I think  I will be putting more hours into this I think if you come from runeterra or from onmyoji it feels a little lack luster if you don't have PC knowledge I just started playing a few days ago...the only main gripe everyone has is mouse support I am saving for a laptop and I have a Samsung tablet and I think if you could view your cards easier with cursor compared to using your fingers.. if that was added to support either usb to type c and bluetooth mouse in game this would be easier for me to put time into..my friends used to play lol so I thought I give it go;🎨 Graphics:  really good!

The economics, resource management, diplomacy, espionage, research and building wonders and occupying and colonizing settlements, religion, culture and science and commerce and trade from the ancient age through the space age is an absolute blast which requires deep strategic planning. This game has a high learning curve and there are endless possible seeded maps generated by each game making each game feel fresh with new scenarios and events that occur as each game is a random selection of civillizations the AI or other players uses also the geography of the world map changes. You can start at a plain in one game and secluded in a land locked island the next game. This is the only strategy game that has masterfully encapsulated all the most complex parts of society and even trading and careful diplomacy and organizational changes civillizations go through as they progress and it is beaultiful to see this living breathing world come to life. I bought the base game and the first dlc and im planning to fully support and buy all other DLC expansions.
