I’m the solo dev of a little cat lane-strategy game called Claws of Power, and I’ve just finished a new melee unit: Genji. He’s basically a hot-blooded delinquent kid turned cat – grass in his mouth, metal pipe in hand, big goofy hair, very “after-school rooftop fight” vibe. In battle he’s a bruiser: when his HP gets low he snaps into a “tough it out” state where his attack, attack speed and move speed all jump for a short time. If he survives and you heal him back up, the cooldown resets and he can do it again, so keeping him alive really pays off. You can pair him with a healer, or give him lifesteal gear and just let him brawl on the front line. These GIFs are from my latest test build. Heyyyyyy, guys. I want to share a small peek at a later-stage battle in Claws of Power First, a swarm of bats appears on the right side of the screen, circling and then fusing together into a huge vampire cat. After the merge, it lifts a paw and fires a big black energy orb down the lane – that’s when you know things are about to get messy. In combat, my Gatling muscle cat and the blue tiger cat push forward together, cleaning up enemy minions while trying to reach the vampire himself. The vampire doesn’t just stand still – it moves with its troops and occasionally calls down lightning to wipe the lane, so the whole fight feels very chaotic and tense. And last, I want to share  a combo I really like: a tiny knight cat jumping onto a big tanky cat, turning into a “face-riding” duo. The big cat soaks the damage in front, while the knight on top keeps poking away with his spear – it looks silly, but it’s very satisfying to watch. These are just little moments from the game. There will be more themed cats and even wilder battle effects later on. Been playing the game since it's global launch started, and I'm deeply saddened to say this first of all there's a lot of game breaking bugs, graphic issues, overheating, and much more that I can't even imagine that it manage to run on my low-end device. I don't even the highest of expectations when they announced it to the public, I'm hoping in the near future or maybe couple of months it's finally "playable" and atleast working smoothly for some android device around the globe.
