A great anime adaptation inside a subpar gacha game - DanMachi Battle Chronicle Quick Review

SHOULD I PLAY DANMACHI BATTLE CHRONICLE? Only play it if you really like DanMachi. DanMachi Battle Chronicle is a visually stunning gacha game based on the popular light novel/manga/anime series DanMachi or Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? in its full English title. The game features a well-made story backed by great voice acting and cutscenes, but it falls short with everything else: repetitive gameplay, slow progression, limited content, and a poorly designed shop.

Black Clover Mobile is really fun!

Honestly one of the better anime-adapted games to come out in recent memory (last one would probably be the FMA:B one). Story and animation are good, music and characters are also high-quality, maybe only some characters' abilities are a bit underwhelming to use in combat. This game got me to actually watch the anime for once (never got to it because of the super long runtime), which is a first for me.

Jump: Assemble is just another subpar MOBA trying to pull players in with cool anime characters

SHOULD I PLAY JUMP: ASSEMBLE? Even anime fans should skip this one. Jump: Assemble lacks creativity and fails to deliver anything that hasn’t already been done better by other mobile MOBAs, aside from its star-studded cast of anime characters. I love many of the anime and manga characters featured here, such as Naruto and Goku, but even that love isn’t enough to keep me interested in playing this game.

CAPTAIN TSUBASA ACE IS SO CLOSE TO WHAT I WANT!

GET IT ON THE GOOGLE STORE GET IT ON THE APPLE STORE I have no affinity for any form of actual football, or other sport for that matter. While I possess a preference for anime-styled adaptations, it is primarily due to their ability to get my attention, as exemplified by shows such as BlueLock and MegaloBox. Although the online competitive 5v5 player versus player experience is exceptional, the inability to score, which I found exasperating, detracts from its overall quality. Conversely, the single player automated campaign is simply dreadful.

Crafting game lovers won’t want to miss this cozy RPG

WitchSpring R is a simple but addictive RPG that’s all about collecting items and crafting potions. It’s a remake of the first title in a popular series of mobile games, but it also has a lot in common with another game series: Atelier. I’m a huge Atelier fan, and WitchSpring R definitely captures the cozy slice-of-life qualities that makes those games great. The game revolves around Pieberry, an adorable witch who would like nothing more than to spend her days eating the best pie that the world has to offer. Unfortunately for her, WitchSpring R takes place in a world where magic users are being hunted down. This means she has to dodge attacks from enemy soldiers while she’s exploring or gathering ingredients.

Another crappy gacha game tarnishing the legacy of a brilliant anime series

SHOULD I PLAY TOKYO GHOUL: BREAK THE CHAINS? Skip it, unless you’re really, really into Tokyo Ghoul. Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains presents the exact same stuff I’ve seen a million times before across the long string of samey mobile gacha games I’ve tried over the years. It doesn’t contain an original idea in its gameplay or design. This lack of originality would make for a boring game no matter what, but it’s especially disappointing given the brilliance of the anime, light novel series, and manga it’s based on.

For the hardcore fans only, newbies need not apply - Pokémon Trading Card Game Live Quick Review

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Chances are you already know your own answer to this question, but for the sake of the format of these reviews, I’ll answer the question: Play it only if you’re already an established fan of the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game or the previous digital iteration, Pokémon Trading Card Game Online. Pokémon TCG Live is a long-awaited update/replacement for the previous digital version, which was over a decade old. The new experience offers a much cleaner UI and some fun customization elements. It’s a slick package in many ways, but if you’re not already a dedicated

Yes, The Legend of Nayuta still looks like a PSP game, but it's definitely worth checking out

SHOULD I PLAY THE LEGEND OF NAYUTA: BOUNDLESS TRAILS? Play it if you’re a fan of Falcom games or old-school JRPGs. The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails was originally released for the PlayStation Portable, so it’s a little rough around the edges, but it’s still very fun. There’s a great mix of action combat, platforming, and slice-of-life gameplay here, along with a charming story. It never reaches the highs of other Falcom series, like the

Idle adventure RPG from anime One piece. 👍 Pros: graphic and skill effect which is stunning. The same storyline as the manga. If you already know the gameplay in this game, then you don't need to top up just to become strong. And you can get strong lineup. New characters (other than ultimate characters) will hold events, complete the challenges and get a total 8 ⭐ of new character .

What is Black Clover Mobile? Black Clover Mobile is, quite fittingly, a mobile game based on the anime and manga. It follows an orphan called Asta, who slowly learns magical skills from the Black Bulls to becoming the next Wizard King. It's unclear whether this mobile game will follow the same plot, as details really are thin on the ground at this point. However, Asta was the first confirmed character for the game, so there's a good chance it'll either retell or continue his wizarding story.Equally, we don't yet know how the gameplay will work in Black Clover Mobile. However, early snippets from trailers suggest it'll be a third-person combat RPG similar in approach to Genshin Impact, with NPCs likeSister Lily scattered throughout the world. It'll utilise 3D cel-shaded graphics with an open world to explore, on top of boss battles to challenge yourself with. It's also a gacha game at heart, with a mountain of characters to try and unlock, adding to your roster.

The latest upcoming Fate title is an action-packed RPG with katana-wielding samurais and monsters

Fate/Samurai Remnant is Koei Tecmo's upcoming action RPG and one of the latest developments in Type-Moon's Fate series. Unlike previous installments, Fate/Samurai Remnant takes place further in the past during the Edo period in the mid-17th century, and features traditional Japanese themes and styles. As someone that's watched the anime series from time to time, I'm particularly interested in how this game will build on the Fate series and what combat could be like in the Edo period. I think the visuals are pretty cool too. The vibrant colors mixed with the anime-style look, makes the game appealing but not too far from any of the other Fate games or shows.

Want to fight for less than 99 seconds? Knightcore: Sword of the Kingdom is a speedy strategy game

SHOULD I PLAY KNIGHTCORE: SWORD OF THE KINGDOM? Check it out if you’re looking for a simple, fast-paced strategy game you can play on the go, but skip it if you’re looking for a deep story or combat. Knightcore: Sword of the Kingdom offers small-scale battles that are over in 90 seconds or less. That’s a terrific game if you have a few minutes to kill, but I struggled to stay invested when I played for longer stretches of time. There are few cool side features, like minigames and some light kingdom building, but there’s not much to them. It’s clearly a game made to be played in short bursts, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you should give it a try.
