It serves as the sequel to Payday: The Heist and has managed to build a dedicated fan base over the years. The game centers around a team of criminals performing various heists, ranging from bank robberies to drug trafficking runs. Here's a comprehensive review of Payday 2, covering its gameplay, graphics, sound, and overall experience.

It will make us experience the thrill and challenge of surviving in a post-nuclear city built entirely in 2.5D! It also combines elements of adventure and mystery. In this gloomy environment we can decide to advance either in Story and/or Survival mode. In Story mode the plot unfolds based on the missions to be undertaken escaping from the dying city to find the love of our youth. Here we will meet different characters, puzzles and choices that will influence the outcome of the story, also discovering the secrets and mysteries of the post-nuclear world, instead, in Survival mode we will face the harsh realities of living in a radioactive wasteland facing typical problems such as hunger, thirst, diseases, radiation and enemies. In all this we will have to collect resources and create objects to survive also facing different events and challenges depending on the weather, time and place! The ambient noises and graphics are a feast for the eyes as they enhance the immersion and realism of the adventure.

Metroidvanias are one of our favorite genres here at TapTap HQ. We play all of them, from gorgeous games like Hollow Knight and Afterimage to pixel-art masterpieces like Momodora: Moonlit Farewell to just plain weird stuff like Doomblade. Despite checking out everything the genre has to offer, though, we've never seen a game quite like this one. The trailer above is for Ultros, a self-described "psychedelic Metroidvania" on its way from Swedish developer Hadoque. The game sees players crash-land on the Sarcophagus, which is described as, uh, "a giant, space-drifting, cosmic uterus holding an ancient demonic being." Huh. Yeah, that's pretty weird!
