Pokemon Go developer Niantic is reverting the recent increase in Wild Spawn interaction distance, citing it as an unintended effect of a bug fix. Previously, trainers noticed an extended distance for interacting with Wild Spawns, which was initially believed to be an intentional change. However, Niantic's Support account on Twitter confirmed that it was unintended and is now being reverted. Niantic addressed the issue on June 27, explaining that the bug fix was meant to improve the Pokemon encounter experience during GPS drift.
