Star Wars Hunters A team-based multiplayer battle game set in the Star Wars universe? Sign me up! I’m a big fan of Overwatch and Apex Legends, so the idea of blending these great ideas with the many iconic aliens and characters from Star Wars is a genuinely exciting one. If you’re telling me I can sneak up on enemies as a Wookie and bash them with a hammer, then I will play your game. While we won’t know a tremendous amount about the game yet, it’s likely to get a whole host of interesting aliens from the many corners of the Star Wars universe, so we’re excited to see just how well Star Wars Hunters plays next year.

Metroidvanias are one of our favorite genres here at TapTap HQ. We play all of them, from gorgeous games like Hollow Knight and Afterimage to pixel-art masterpieces like Momodora: Moonlit Farewell to just plain weird stuff like Doomblade. Despite checking out everything the genre has to offer, though, we've never seen a game quite like this one. The trailer above is for Ultros, a self-described "psychedelic Metroidvania" on its way from Swedish developer Hadoque. The game sees players crash-land on the Sarcophagus, which is described as, uh, "a giant, space-drifting, cosmic uterus holding an ancient demonic being." Huh. Yeah, that's pretty weird!

**Far Cry 6 Review** *Far Cry 6* by Ubisoft continues the franchise's tradition of offering expansive open-world gameplay, engaging combat, and a mix of serious and absurd storytelling. Set in the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, modeled after Cuba, the game follows the protagonist, Dani Rojas, as they join the guerrilla forces to overthrow the tyrannical dictator, Antón Castillo, portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito.

Now, I did really love the Dungeon Hunter series. Dungeon Hunter 4 was great, Dungeon Hunter 5, while full of pay to win, was still somewhat fun. But OH no! No fan of the Dungeon Hunter series would EVER expect the 6th to be THIS bad. For starters, this is literally that "Eternal Hunt: Dark Ancients" that I played in July in early beta.. so I'm guessing Gameloft just bought that game and rebranded it. It's a regular trend, not for every game or developer, but it is quite prevalent to see an IP  released or, in some cases, revived after many years of silence when everything being shown should have been properly planned before its release. Dragons Dogma 2 feels rushed, or, for lack of a better term, Early Access. There are numerous game-breaking elements that you may encounter, such as being banned for erasing your save file to start over (which is uncommon but can happen), as well as a large number of bugs and frustrating features that will likely get under your skin if you're not familiar with the original game and all it's "Unique" aspects.
