Pocket Playfest: An Indie Celebration 2023 Winter Edition In a recent hands-on exclusive experience this past weekend, I had the privilege of testing a handful of titles on TapTap's experimental cloud gaming service, setting the stage for this 16-day event where indie game developers show-off their creations exclusively on the TapTap mobile platform — fully playable PC games without the need for an actual PC, Android/iOS version, or the need to download the games and install them.  Granted, you’d need to have a reliable internet service to be able to stream these games, and preferably are located in US and Canada for consistent play and latency, at least for now.

However, it’s not the end of the line for this inventive tower defense card game. CD 2: Trap Master is set for another round of competition, facing Heaven Dust 2 on January 2nd. This matchup promises to be a thrilling encounter.

The sequel maintains the high standards set by its predecessor, offering improved graphics and a more intricate trap system. The game's diverse environments and strategic elements keep players on their toes, making each level a thrilling puzzle to solve. However, some may find the difficulty curve steep, and newcomers might need time to master the intricate mechanics. Despite this, CD 2: Trap Master excels in delivering a unique and exhilarating gaming experience for those seeking a test of their reflexes and strategic thinking.

As I said earlier, just one run of the demo was all it took for me to be completely sold on this game. Unfortunately it’s not out yet, but if it was, I’d highly recommend it to any Vampire Survivor fans out there looking for their next fix… especially if they also happen to love Farming Sims.

Loved the procedural generation. This is one amazing technique that has been giving few games a massive edge over others. I usually don't like top down POV games, but this one is really fun to play. The bosses are very interesting visually and from a Combat enemy POV. Hack and Slash fans, this one is for you 🔥

Tried, and its worth trying! For me, it is your typical fighting game. Many things to consider based on my experience. Pros: - Graphics are quality - SFXs and BGMs are a classic - I get to see Voltes V (it's a personal preference, but it's part of childhood. KEKW) Cons: - There's nothing much new about the game. Bottomline is that it is still on its development phase. It does look promising. I can see how it can alleviate stress and boredom during past time, and I hope to play it along with my friends and colleagues. I can imagine the outcome for solo players playing team battles, but same can be imaged if played with friends! My suggestion is that I hope this will be available in different platforms! I don't really enjoy it playing it through keyboard, but the game has the control options, so that's convenient!

When you mix a pinball machine with a tower defense game and add slots machine, you get this game. A very interesting concept that could hold my attention for hours. Prep your towers, move the monsters in the slots machine and hit the bell and watch the monsters fall into your towers. Simple idea with lots of potential for fun.
