CD 2: Trap Master is a game that takes you on an exhilarating journey of strategy, adventure, and fun. It's a game that's packed with action, filled with puzzles, and brimming with excitement at every turn. I tried this during the Pocket Playfest Winter 2023. The game looks intriguing with a story that grabs right away. Unfortunately, as with a couple other games during the playtest, I wasn't able to progress very far because of quirks with the cloud play controls. I figured out quickly that taps were mapped as left mouse clicks, but I couldn't left click on the door to progress the objective. Still, from the jump, I'm excited to see what happens next! I'll have to check this game out when it's released.

While the game could improve gameplay and presentation, the intriguing game mechanics and nostalgic retro pixel graphics convinced them that the upcoming full-release version has significant potential. Venturing into pinball, slot machines, and tower defense, "Devil Slot Machine" provides a distinct gaming experience that may appeal to fans of these genres. Despite infrequent ventures into such gaming domains, gambling the soul against a diabolical opponent fascinated them from the outset. While the game could benefit from some fine-tuning, the attraction of its innovative game mechanics and charming retro pixel graphics suggests that the future full-release version has the potential to deliver a captivating and immersive gaming experience.

It's been a long time sinceI played survivor horror games but now, I can comfortably say Heavenly Dust 2 has rekindled my interest by returning to the genre's roots. ✨Overview I’ve been on a rogue-like roll recently, and now we’re about to cover yet another game the in the genre with Wild Legion, an upcoming rogue-like survival game with some refreshing twists. I recently played the Demo available on Steam and it’s basically Brotato on steroids, featuring auto-attack horder survival gameplay filled with elements taken from other genres such as tower defense, twin-stick shooting, crafting, and questing. The game is still under development, and set to be release in Early Access on Q1 2024.

However, it’s not the end of the line for this inventive tower defense card game. CD 2: Trap Master is set for another round of competition, facing Heaven Dust 2 on January 2nd. This matchup promises to be a thrilling encounter.

When I think of card based roguelikes, lots of games come to mind. This game adds the element of combos to the mix and has my attention more then a lot of the others. Your cards are not one and done. You add them to your combo and your attack grows each round. Can you afford the health to get a super powerful combo attack? That adds a lot more thinking and strategy then some of the other deck building games. I am watching this game for its future.
