Its victory is a clear reflection of its compelling gameplay and immersive storytelling. Pesticide Not Required: Ready for a Comeback Pesticide Not Required, despite its unique blend of bullet hell chaos and farming mechanics, didn't clinch victory this round. However, this isn't the end for this innovative game. Pesticide Not Required is set for another round in the Playfest, where it will face GigaBash on January 3rd. This upcoming match promises to offer another round of exciting gameplay.

There is a lot about GigaBash that speaks to me as a lifelong kaiju fan. The visuals, the Titan designs, the pick-up-and-play ease of the controls, the level variety, the lore, it’s all top-notch and easy to gush about. If you can consistently get three other people to join you locally in the action, you’re going to get a lot out of this game. If that’s not realistic for you, know that it can still be a pretty fun time even if you’re not getting the optimal experience.

Pesticide Not Required’s absurd premise, coupled with the perfect balance of bullet hell chaos and farming tranquility, creates an experience that is both entertaining and therapeutic. As I said earlier, just one run of the demo was all it took for me to be completely sold on this game. Unfortunately it’s not out yet, but if it was, I’d highly recommend it to any Vampire Survivor fans out there looking for their next fix… especially if they also happen to love Farming Sims.

The influence of Resident Evil lends clarity to gameplay without feeling plagiaristic. I'm having some control scheme and translation issues, but nothing that ruins my experience. Good game, looking forward to more playtime.

This game was really enjoyable, I found myself really enjoying the action combat and for each character/weapon you choose will give you a different feeling and play style. For an indie game it really has a lot of potential, for example during combat, the blood splatter leaves a trail after defeating the enemy is perfect! All in all it’s a good game to try out 8.5/10.

This is the type of game that really embodies the saying "play your cards right" in order to win. Overall, it is a very engaging game for anyone who likes strategy games.
