Pesticide Not Required has everything I could ever want in a Vampire Survivors clone: smooth bullet heaven gameplay, over-the-top power-ups, frogs, farming mechanics, and even a pet capybara to help me care for my plants. The game doesn't overstay its welcome, and its a nice affordable game to pass the time, beatable in a single sitting.

I tried this during the Pocket Playfest Winter 2023. The game looks intriguing with a story that grabs right away. Unfortunately, as with a couple other games during the playtest, I wasn't able to progress very far because of quirks with the cloud play controls. I figured out quickly that taps were mapped as left mouse clicks, but I couldn't left click on the door to progress the objective. Still, from the jump, I'm excited to see what happens next! I'll have to check this game out when it's released.
