I can tell this game is great, even though I'm dreadful at playing it. I'm reminded of childhood favorites Rampage and War of the Monsters — but also of the far more recent Ruckus, a delightful little kaiju brawler published to MediaMolecule's Dreams. Recommended to anyone who likes picking up entire buildings and hurling them at friends.

[Pocket Playfest 2023 Winter Edition] Gigabash Review

GigaBash is a thrilling multiplayer arena brawler that seamlessly blends the chaos of titles like Power Stone, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters with the awe-inspiring scale of classic kaiju movies. The game invites players to claim their place as king among Titans, offering a choice between rampaging Titans and Titan-hunting mechas. The game has been out on PC and consoles since last year, and has recently got its Ultraman DLC, following the Godzilla DLC last year.

Tried, and its worth trying! For me, it is your typical fighting game. Many things to consider based on my experience. Pros: - Graphics are quality - SFXs and BGMs are a classic - I get to see Voltes V (it's a personal preference, but it's part of childhood. KEKW) Cons: - There's nothing much new about the game. Bottomline is that it is still on its development phase. It does look promising. I can see how it can alleviate stress and boredom during past time, and I hope to play it along with my friends and colleagues. I can imagine the outcome for solo players playing team battles, but same can be imaged if played with friends! My suggestion is that I hope this will be available in different platforms! I don't really enjoy it playing it through keyboard, but the game has the control options, so that's convenient!

"Pesticide Not Required" is a breath of fresh air in the world of gaming. It uniquely combines fun gameplay mechanics with an underlying message about the environment, creating an experience that is as thought-provoking as it is entertaining. From the moment you start playing, it's evident that a lot of thought has gone into the game's design. The graphics are vibrant and engaging, pulling you into a world where nature reigns supreme. The soundtrack complements the visuals perfectly, with soothing melodies that make you feel as if you're in the middle of a lush forest.

I gave this one a quick go during the PocketPlayfest winter 2023. Great strategic gameplay with a ton of potential. This game compares favorably to Roguebook, another deck building, rogue like, auto-battler, and one of my favorites. The mechanics are interesting, but familiar and the gameplay is about what you'd expect. I'm assuming this pre-release version is missing some animations and graphical refinement. There were also some weird quirks in the text elements that could do with a grammar check, but all were minor. I'll definitely be bagging this one when it comes out!

would I recommend it? If you dig classic horror and don't mind a few technical hiccups, then hell yeah! Just pack your patience, a map, and maybe a whole lotta ammo. This ain't no walk in the park, but for horror fans like me, the scares are totally worth it.

[Pocket Playfest 2023 Winter Edition] Minds Beneath Us

Minds Beneath Us is set to offer a compelling mix of sci-fi thriller, mystery, and interactive adventure. The game's futuristic setting, rich storytelling, and visually captivating presentation create a unique gaming experience. While the demo provides only a brief glimpse into the game's potential, it succeeds in getting me excited and anticipating the full release. Ultimately, it’s a charming game with huge potential to be one of the better narrative indie games out there once it comes out. I do hope it doesn't take so long that I forget about the game entirely.

What if Vampire Survivors had farming and frogs? Pesticide Not Required is my ideal roguelite

SHOULD I PLAY PESTICIDE NOT REQUIRED? Absolutely yes. Pesticide Not Required has everything I could ever want in a Vampire Survivors clone: smooth bullet heaven gameplay, over-the-top power-ups, frogs, farming mechanics, and even a pet capybara to help me care for my plants. I’ve only played the demo, but I’m already head over heels in love with Pesticide Not Required. Unless you totally hate roguelites—or frogs—this is a must play.

Devil Slot Machine: Tactical Challenges and Room for Improvement

If players are deeply engrossed in the gaming world, especially fond of pinball, slot machines, or tower defense games, "Devil Slot Machine" will likely capture their attention. Although some do not typically delve into these genres, the unique idea of risking the soul in a gambling showdown against a demonic entity immediately caught such interest. While the game could improve gameplay and presentation, the intriguing game mechanics and nostalgic retro pixel graphics convinced them that the upcoming full-release version has significant potential. Venturing into pinball, slot machines, and tower defense, "Devil Slot Machine" provides a distinct gaming experience that may appeal to fans of these genres. Despite infrequent ventures into such gaming domains, gambling the soul against a diabolical opponent fascinated them from the outset. Just one run of the demo and i’m completely sold, now on PC+Mobile (Cloud) | Pesticide Not Required

✨Overview Just one run of the demo was all it took for me to be completely sold on this absurd farming survival rogue-lite game — Pesticide Not Required, showcasing a rampaging frog armed with weaponized plants and farming tools. While the game is slated for release early next year and is not out yet, I had the opportunity to play the available Demo, and boy it did a really good job of Demoing the game.
