SHOULD I PLAY MINDS BENEATH US? This is definitely one to check out if you’re interested in adventure games or cyberpunk stories. Minds Beneath Us is a modern, more down-to-earth spin on Ghost in the Shell. It’s set a couple decades in the future in an unnamed city in Asia where AI controls many aspects of daily lives and shadowy agencies use data ghosts to possess targets and spy on their enemies. It’s stylish and atmospheric, and the story had me hooked right away—even though I found some of the pixel-hunting a bit tedious.

📖 Storyline: Minds Beneath Us is a captivating game that immerses us in a dystopian world where society is entirely automated by AI. The game follows the story of a man and a data ghost who lives in his head and controls his body. Together, they will have to face a mysterious plot that is gradually revealed. 🎮 Gameplay: The game presents itself as an interactive thriller where the player can constantly make their own dialogue choices, and influence the relationship between the characters. Player choices and actions have a constant impact on the development of the story, which can take different turns depending on the situation.

Heaven Dust 2 successfully builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, offering a thrilling survival horror experience reminiscent of classic Resident Evil games. The game impresses with its chibi-style graphics, engaging story, and well-optimized gameplay. The inclusion of various difficulty levels, playthrough unlocks, and exploration elements contributes to its replay value. The game doesn't overstay its welcome, and its a nice affordable game to pass the time, beatable in a single sitting.

When I first tried Pesticide Not Required, I was pleasantly surprised by its addictive gameplay and original concept. This is an exciting roguelike game combining horde survival with farming elements, and adding Bullet Hell mechanics to it. The game character, the frog, gives the game a unique flavor, and the minimum system requirements make it accessible to a wide audience. For me, another big advantage of the game was the possibility of cloud gaming. This allows you to enjoy the game even on weak computers, since all calculations take place on the server, and not on your device.

I tried this during the Pocket Playfest Winter 2023. The game looks intriguing with a story that grabs right away. Unfortunately, as with a couple other games during the playtest, I wasn't able to progress very far because of quirks with the cloud play controls. I figured out quickly that taps were mapped as left mouse clicks, but I couldn't left click on the door to progress the objective. Still, from the jump, I'm excited to see what happens next! I'll have to check this game out when it's released.

GigaBash is a thrilling multiplayer arena brawler that seamlessly blends the chaos of titles like Power Stone, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters with the awe-inspiring scale of classic kaiju movies. #One of the best I've ever played. It's been a long time sinceI played survivor horror games but now, I can comfortably say Heavenly Dust 2 has rekindled my interest by returning to the genre's roots. With engaging gameplay and clever puzzles challenging players to conserve resources in a zombie-infested world, this sequel surpasses its predecessor with refined combat, a wider variety of enemies, and exceptional world design.

CD 2: Trap Master delivers an adrenaline-packed gaming experience with its intense trap-focused challenges. The sequel maintains the high standards set by its predecessor, offering improved graphics and a more intricate trap system. The game's diverse environments and strategic elements keep players on their toes, making each level a thrilling puzzle to solve. However, some may find the difficulty curve steep, and newcomers might need time to master the intricate mechanics. Despite this, CD 2: Trap Master excels in delivering a unique and exhilarating gaming experience for those seeking a test of their reflexes and strategic thinking.

Devil Slayer - Rakasai, the game, delivers a compelling mix of challenging combat and a rich, dark fantasy world. The visuals are striking, and the gameplay mechanics offer a satisfying level of difficulty. It's a solid choice for gamers who appreciate intense action and atmospheric storytelling.

Pocket Playfest: An Indie Celebration 2023 Winter Edition In a recent hands-on exclusive experience this past weekend, I had the privilege of testing a handful of titles on TapTap's experimental cloud gaming service, setting the stage for this 16-day event where indie game developers show-off their creations exclusively on the TapTap mobile platform — fully playable PC games without the need for an actual PC, Android/iOS version, or the need to download the games and install them.  Granted, you’d need to have a reliable internet service to be able to stream these games, and preferably are located in US and Canada for consistent play and latency, at least for now.

SHOULD I PLAY PESTICIDE NOT REQUIRED? Absolutely yes. Pesticide Not Required has everything I could ever want in a Vampire Survivors clone: smooth bullet heaven gameplay, over-the-top power-ups, frogs, farming mechanics, and even a pet capybara to help me care for my plants. I’ve only played the demo, but I’m already head over heels in love with Pesticide Not Required. Unless you totally hate roguelites—or frogs—this is a must play.
