Premise of the game is great, playing as a blind guy is a unique perspective for me. The devs know how to set the atmosphere and how to use the audio to their advantage, the small light and almost all edges of the player is dark, making it seem like something might suddenly pop up, and footsteps of the monster is also visible and making the monster have visible outline if shot, which is a nice touch. Only problem is... My game bugged whenever I'm on the 2nd floor which is a shame.

There's no shortage of strategy games out there, it's as if a new one releases every other day even. However, once one actually sits down to take a look, it becomes evident that the term "Strategy" is used very loosely in the turn-based subgenre (i.e., gacha games). Nevertheless, from time to time, the mold gets broken, and a hidden gem emerges. Today, we take a look at one such hidden gem: Prime of Flames.

This tower-defense-dungeon-crawler hybrid deftly outpaced its competitor, Refactor (with 3993 votes), in an epic showdown that captivated gamers worldwide. Round 2 Recap: Dwerve Clinches Victory The second round of Pocket Playfest saw a riveting clash between two indie powerhouses. Refactor, a brain-teasing physics puzzler, stood its ground against Dwerve, a compelling fusion of tower defense and dungeon crawling. Though both games drew impressive download and vote numbers, Dwerve managed to edge ahead, cementing its place as the round's champion. For some this is unexpected and for some it was a obvious. Refactor had a cool physics based mechanism and the game play was fun, so many expected it to win. But Dwerve had quite a good story and good dynamic tower defence gameplay and i think that's what made it win even though it had some buggs. Nevertheless, i think Dwerve was a deserving winner. I wish the Devs best of luck for future. The playfest truly has some great games and many of it i am gonna keep in my phone for long.

The overall content of the game is great, I know that the devs are fans of RE franchise based on their previous post but there's just too much similarities of the games that it feels like another clone. No hate to the devs though, they did a great job at making puzzles, making the map feel big and setting the atmosphere but playing the game in vertical is a big turn off for me (idk if there's a function for it to be landscape), I don't like playing games in vertical as it make the game feel cramped. Things I also noticed are the buttons, the game tutorial says press x but there's no button for it and the way to do it is either hold the object or tap it, and the virtual joystick, it always moves which is irritating.

Not the first RPG/Roguelike I've played. There are several similar to this one from those that I remember. But here the music is a masterpiece.  Damn she's really good. I don't know why I liked her so much. Very pleasant. Only for the sake of this music you can come back again and again.
