Even though this is just a demo, Dwerve Prologue is a game that's full of potential. It has an art style reminiscent of old Zelda games which really does it for me. Character design is also great in my books. Each character I've come across so far had a certain charm with them. Story is intriguing, to say the least. The gameplay is also easy enough to understand but really challenging to master especially when waves of enemies hone on your location.

Heaven Dust is a survival horror game that was originally released on Steam back in 2020. It really wears its inspiration, the original Resident Evil, on its sleeve as it takes place in a mansion that has been infested by a zombie virus. The PC version of this game actually gained enough attention to spawn a sequel two years after the first game. Still, as part of the Pocket Playfest, we're here to talk about Heaven Dust on Android, at first glance.

✨Overview I’ve been on a rogue-like roll recently, and now we’re about to cover yet another game the in the genre with Wild Legion, an upcoming rogue-like survival game with some refreshing twists. I recently played the Demo available on Steam and it’s basically Brotato on steroids, featuring auto-attack horder survival gameplay filled with elements taken from other genres such as tower defense, twin-stick shooting, crafting, and questing. The game is still under development, and set to be release in Early Access on Q1 2024.

Not the first RPG/Roguelike I've played. There are several similar to this one from those that I remember. But here the music is a masterpiece.  Damn she's really good. I don't know why I liked her so much. Very pleasant. Only for the sake of this music you can come back again and again.

I am telling you the games that are in Playfest are all so great. Another pair of great games. For this round Prime of Flames takes the W. It had great story and great game play, though Bright Reaper used a game mechanics for their game play that's not common and it is fun, i think prime of flames due to its engaging story and nice look took the W. The do deserve it but bright reaper in its own right a fun game.

As the dust settles on the battlefield of Pocket Playfest's Round 2, one game reigns supreme: Dwerve (with 4499 votes). This tower-defense-dungeon-crawler hybrid deftly outpaced its competitor, Refactor (with 3993 votes), in an epic showdown that captivated gamers worldwide. Round 2 Recap: Dwerve Clinches Victory The second round of Pocket Playfest saw a riveting clash between two indie powerhouses. Refactor, a brain-teasing physics puzzler, stood its ground against Dwerve, a compelling fusion of tower defense and dungeon crawling. Though both games drew impressive download and vote numbers, Dwerve managed to edge ahead, cementing its place as the round's champion. Hands down the most F2P friendly sandbox shooter ever, I spent no money to max out heroes or to beat stacks of whales; skill is all it takes to climb the ladder. Auto fire got your back if you are also a "thumbs only" player, you get to train all you want as there is no "energy system", and no paywall unbalances the everchanging meta. A heftier playerbase is all we need to tweak matchmaking and become an E-Sport.

I tend to avoid games with potential risks (there's a review). I don't have anything against the devs, I just want to be safe. So, I won't give a rating.

Definitely recommend it! This game immediately caught my attention with its contrasting and captivating name hahahaha. The ability to create my own apps and castles using the sandbox editor has me thrilled.

I See You is another Survival-Horror/Thriller game inspired by Resident Evil. The only caveat is that... you're going in blind. You play as Sean, a guy that was blinded by an accident of some kind. He has a girlfriend, Liz, who helps take care of him amidst his disability. Sean's blindness is a part of the core gameplay. You can never see beyond a certain radius so it actually forces you to move around to really explore your surroundings.

Blade of God 2: Orisols is a 3D hack’n’slash RPG that clearly is an expy of the Soulsborne genre. The moment you boot up the game and are greeted with the game’s aesthetic, the inspiration Blade of God 2 takes from Fromsoftware’s games is readily apparent. Definitely not a bad game and has potential but the aforementioned problems definitely need to be fixed in my opinion in order for modern gamers to really get into the game easily.
