Cyber Manhunt plays out like the found-phone mystery genre where you have to look for something in a layout that is similar to the devices we're using just to solve the mystery at hand. The game starts off with an animated intro of sorts that really sets you in the theme. As a hacker extraordinaire, you are tasked by your employer to look into cases through unconventional and possibly unethical means.

✨Overview Just one run of the demo was all it took for me to be completely sold on this absurd farming survival rogue-lite game — Pesticide Not Required, showcasing a rampaging frog armed with weaponized plants and farming tools. While the game is slated for release early next year and is not out yet, I had the opportunity to play the available Demo, and boy it did a really good job of Demoing the game.

Pocket Playfest: An Indie Celebration 2023 Winter Edition In a recent hands-on exclusive experience this past weekend, I had the privilege of testing a handful of titles on TapTap's experimental cloud gaming service, setting the stage for this 16-day event where indie game developers show-off their creations exclusively on the TapTap mobile platform — fully playable PC games without the need for an actual PC, Android/iOS version, or the need to download the games and install them.  Granted, you’d need to have a reliable internet service to be able to stream these games, and preferably are located in US and Canada for consistent play and latency, at least for now.

As we inch closer to the grand finale of the Pocket Playfest, the suspense is at its peak. The fourth round saw a compelling match between Heaven Dust and I See You, both games pushing the boundaries with their remarkable attributes. Heaven Dust, however, rose above the competition, securing the most votes and the victory. Your game has proven to be a fan favorite, captivating the hearts of players with its engaging gameplay. But let's not forget the talent and effort that went into crafting I See You. ✨Overview CD 2: Trap Master is a tower defense rogue-like deck-building game that has just recently been released in Early Access form. It is a sequel to the original mobile game Candy Disaster TD, featuring very similar elements, and adds rogue-like deck-building elements to the franchise. Going in blind with this game, the title obviously gave away that this is a game sequel, but I could not find any trace of a predecessor game called “CD” across Steam and the internet until I found out that it was actually titled Candy Disaster TD, primarily a mobile game that was also released on PC. Upon discovering that game, it became apparent that CD 2: Trap Master is indeed a sequel to that title, and these games appear remarkably similar.

I tend to avoid games with potential risks (there's a review). I don't have anything against the devs, I just want to be safe. So, I won't give a rating.

Bright Reappear is a Match-3/RPG with a mechanic where you could choose to select more than one item to move on the puzzle grid. Aside from that, it plays practically like any Match-3/RPG that I could think of. The characters and game design look alright. It's as you'd expect from fantasy pixel art. The text though... I feel like there's still a lot of room for improvement especially with the translations so that the sentences feel a bit more dynamic and less forced.

✨Overview Combo Card Clashers is an upcoming single-player roguelike deckbuilder that promises to tap into your inner creativity with its unique turn-based combat system. Having recently tried the demo, I found myself pleasantly surprised by its simple yet addictive and entertaining gameplay. The game invites players to embark on a heroic journey through a medieval fantasy land, recruiting monsters, mercenaries, and discovering relics while engaging in intense tactical fights.

Hands down the most F2P friendly sandbox shooter ever, I spent no money to max out heroes or to beat stacks of whales; skill is all it takes to climb the ladder. Auto fire got your back if you are also a "thumbs only" player, you get to train all you want as there is no "energy system", and no paywall unbalances the everchanging meta. A heftier playerbase is all we need to tweak matchmaking and become an E-Sport.
