Prime of Flames is a wargame/rougelike hybrid with tons of charm in its design. Initially released on Steam just last December, the version I'm reviewing now is the demo for its mobile port. Off-the-bat, the character designs got me hooked! There's just something in how each character was drawn. In my opinion, they're just so pleasing to the eye! And it's not just the characters. The entire game itself is designed to look a bit like it was a storybook fantasy.

Not bad, very reminiscent of TABS, it was felt that they were inspired by it. This is literally the same TABS, only more strategy, less fun, randomness and secrets. Has anything new appeared? ✨Overview Just one run of the demo was all it took for me to be completely sold on this absurd farming survival rogue-lite game — Pesticide Not Required, showcasing a rampaging frog armed with weaponized plants and farming tools. While the game is slated for release early next year and is not out yet, I had the opportunity to play the available Demo, and boy it did a really good job of Demoing the game.

Premise of the game is great, playing as a blind guy is a unique perspective for me. The devs know how to set the atmosphere and how to use the audio to their advantage, the small light and almost all edges of the player is dark, making it seem like something might suddenly pop up, and footsteps of the monster is also visible and making the monster have visible outline if shot, which is a nice touch. Only problem is... My game bugged whenever I'm on the 2nd floor which is a shame.
