A popular Fortnite leaker has stated that a new "enhanced resurrection" method could be coming to the island, which would allow gamers to reboot with a stronger weapon, shields, and ammo. Reboot vans have become a staple of the Fortnite experience, giving players the opportunity to bring back eliminated teammates as long as they possess the person's reboot card. Another Fortnite leak claimed reboot vans may soon give players the option to purchase the reboot cards of fallen teammates with gold. The leaker didn't state how much the feature might cost or how often it could be used, but the change would likely alter the flow of matches significantly. Some fans pointed out that the current method of collecting an ally's reboot card can force players into confrontation with one another. It could also spur someone to travel into the storm when they might otherwise flee. Failure to acquire a card means the person will sit out for the rest of the match. Being able to purchase them with gold means there's always a chance a teammate could come back, even very late in the match.

I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been testing this new unit: Chef Cat. He’s not really a fighter by design – tall chef hat, white coat, frying pan in hand. As long as he doesn’t have to hit anyone, he’ll just stand there and “cook” fresh dried fish on the battlefield, slowly boosting your income over time. The fun (and kind of dumb) part is stacking him: more chefs → more fish → more cats → even more chefs… At some point it really feels like you dragged the entire kitchen onto the lane. Of course, if your frontline collapses, the whole kitchen evaporates in two seconds, so it’s a very greedy way to play. Hey everyone, today I wanna talk about why I decided to make this game — and it all goes back to a year ago. Back then, I was still a hardworking corporate drone chained to my desk, and the highlight of my day was stumbling upon this little game during my slacking-off time — *We Are Warriors*. The art style was absurdly simplistic, like something scribbled in a rough draft, but somehow I got totally hooked! The gameplay was super straightforward: tap to summon troops, overwhelm the enemy with numbers, and unlock the next stage (can’t remember the exact rules now, but basically, you just mindlessly tapped away). Each stage only had three types of units, just with different summoning costs. And the so-called "upgrades" only tweaked how fast those costs increased — honestly, it was all just number inflation, with zero innovation in the core gameplay. But the more I played, the more I wondered: how could such a simple setup keep me so addicted? Then it hit me — what if each unit had its own unique skill, plus a rock-paper-scissors type of counter system? Wouldn't that make the gameplay twice as fun?! And then, why not throw in my ultimate obsession — cats! Imagine chubby little kitties leading an army, some scratching up close, others attacking from a distance… just thinking about it melts my heart! Wasn't this my dream game?! I got so pumped I almost slammed the table and handed in my resignation right then… (Wait, don't get me wrong — it wasn't some impulsive career suicide. Let's just say I conveniently caught the tail end of a layoff wave… so, more like a "passive" career pivot, haha.) I’ve been testing a new unit in Claws of Power called Aosha. He’s basically an assassin cat: blue scarf, dual blades, always moving like he’s about to cause trouble. The idea for him actually came from a player, so this one is kind of a custom character brought into the game. One balance problem in earlier versions was that ranged units were getting a bit too comfortable, so I wanted something that could punish them directly instead of just trying to out-stat them. Aosha’s normal attacks have a chance to trigger a quick extra combo. But the more important part is his special trait: if he gets hit by a ranged projectile, he instantly blinks behind that ranged unit, does a guaranteed combo, and then teleports back to where he was before. So against archers and gunners he’s… not very polite. The GIFs I’m posting are from my latest test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when the matchup is right.
