Just Look at This Glow-Up! My Cat-Fight Version of a Time-Waster Game.

Hey everyone, today I wanna talk about why I decided to make this game — and it all goes back to a year ago. Back then, I was still a hardworking corporate drone chained to my desk, and the highlight of my day was stumbling upon this little game during my slacking-off time — *We Are Warriors*. The art style was absurdly simplistic, like something scribbled in a rough draft, but somehow I got totally hooked! The gameplay was super straightforward: tap to summon troops, overwhelm the enemy with numbers, and unlock the next stage (can’t remember the exact rules now, but basically, you just mindlessly tapped away). Each stage only had three types of units, just with different summoning costs. And the so-called "upgrades" only tweaked how fast those costs increased — honestly, it was all just number inflation, with zero innovation in the core gameplay. But the more I played, the more I wondered: how could such a simple setup keep me so addicted? Then it hit me — what if each unit had its own unique skill, plus a rock-paper-scissors type of counter system? Wouldn't that make the gameplay twice as fun?! And then, why not throw in my ultimate obsession — cats! Imagine chubby little kitties leading an army, some scratching up close, others attacking from a distance… just thinking about it melts my heart! Wasn't this my dream game?! I got so pumped I almost slammed the table and handed in my resignation right then… (Wait, don't get me wrong — it wasn't some impulsive career suicide. Let's just say I conveniently caught the tail end of a layoff wave… so, more like a "passive" career pivot, haha.) So, after a whole year of stumbling through countless setbacks and revising the plan like a million times, it's finally here — *Claws of Power Demo* is out! That's all for today. Next time, I'll give you the inside scoop on these absurdly cute battle-ready cat troops — trust me, they're something else (in the best way possible)~ If you also wanna experience the joy of "commanding an army of cats with treats", feel free to search **"Claws of Power "** on Steam and add it to your wishlist! WEX Mobile Alpha Test Release date– Huge Potential or Disappointment?

Wex Mobile Battle Royale, one more battle royale game that is coming to mobile devices, and the alpha test is going to start from next week if I am right and the leaks are true. I know many of us feel this is just one more battle royale game in the ocean of mobile gaming. But you know what I feel? I feel this game has potential to be a good game if the developers do the work the game needs. You can see the gameplay on screen, and this feels too much generic, and I feel this because of the game map and character movements. This doesn’t feel right for me. I know the game is not complete yet, but this game has been under development for years, so I feel we deserve more from this. But I already said this game has potential to be a good game, and I am saying this because of the core gameplay of this game. The game tries to mix two different genres in one game: battle royale + RPG. And when I saw the gameplay, I felt the game is going in the right direction for now. The characters felt junky in some old gameplay, but I feel the dev team already fixed that. And please, let’s not talk about the character models, because if we talk about that, then look at the Blood Strike game characters. The game map also feels random. I can see the houses and stuff don’t look and feel like they are in the right place, so that needs some work. But this upcoming test is about the 5v5 modes, so let’s wait and see what this alpha shows us, because this can change my opinion very fast. I am just hungry for good games. I am not going to talk about all the characters because that will make this video long, and we don’t need that video now. But I am still concerned about the game’s graphic style. I hope that is not going to disappoint me. Now just wait for a week, and I will share the gameplay and what I think if I get the test.

Vampire boss & cat-riding-cat from my indie cat RTS

I’m a solo dev working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power. You spend dried fish to summon different cats, line them up, and try to break the enemy base. These gifs are from a later vampire boss fight. The boss appears out of a swarm of bats, then walks forward with the wave, throwing out black energy orbs and lightning that can pretty much erase your frontline if your timing is bad. On my side it’s mainly the Gatling muscle cat plus Nuba (the blue tiger cat) trying to clean up the lane and slowly push toward him. The other gif is just a little interaction I really like: a tiny knight cat jumps onto a big tank cat and rides along, stabbing away while the big one eats all the damage in front. It looks stupid in a good way, so I kept it. If this kind of thing looks fun, there’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ 🐾

1 HP base comeback run in my cat RTS

I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and these GIFs are from a chapter 4 run where my base was basically at 1 HP. I’d already accepted it was a loss, but it somehow turned into a clear. The core of the run is a simple combo: mech MK-350 + Gatling Bard. MK-350 goes to the frontline, takes hits and still does decent damage. When the mech breaks, the pilot John pops out with low HP and keeps shooting. If he survives long enough to fill his gauge, he can call the mech back, a bit like Kled’s “back on mount” feeling. Bard’s job is just to stand behind and delete things with raw DPS. The risky part is the timing: I let the enemy walk all the way to my base first, then only start dropping units and items when they’re right in front of the core. If I’m even a bit late, the base just explodes; this time it barely held and turned into a very satisfying clutch. There’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam if you want to try the game yourself: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ Full run video is here if you want to see the whole thing: https://youtu.be/sHX72DAv_xY

Claws of Power – My 7-Fish Samurai Cat Akagoro

I’m working on a little cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and recently I finished a new unit I’m pretty happy with: the samurai cat Akagoro. He costs 7 dried fish, so most of the time he’s just standing in the hand looking lazy with his straw hat on while you save up. The idea is that he’s one of those “okay, now it’s worth spending everything” kind of units. His first attack is the fun part: he pauses for a moment, then flash-dashes forward and does a quick iai-style slash. That opening hit usually closes the gap and deletes one target in one go. After that he settles into a more normal melee rhythm, but that first cut is meant to feel like a classic single clean samurai strike. One gif I recorded is just a simple 1v1 test, the other is Akagoro in an actual stage after you unlock him, so you can see how he behaves in a real wave. I also put a short video here if you want to see the full clip: Claws of Power – Meet “Akagoro”, the 7-Fish Samurai Cat https://youtu.be/-Gbm6seDa-U And if you’re curious about the game itself, there’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ 🐾 If anything about his damage/timing looks off to you, feel free to tell me – I’m still tuning his numbers.

Claws of Power – how I’m building progression in my cat RTS

I’m a solo dev working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been focusing a lot on the out-of-match progression instead of just the battles. Right now there are a few main pieces: The base can be upgraded to increase its HP. A lot of players (including me) tend to ignore it at first and just go full offense, but some people like stacking base HP and playing more “hold and counter” style. Later I want to give the base its own talents, like blocking one big hit, reflecting damage, or even adding small turrets.
