Hi, I’m Garlic Sprout, the dev of Claws of Power. It’s a single-lane, card-based strategy game where you spend dried fish to summon cats, they walk forward, and whoever destroys the enemy base first wins. On the surface it’s very simple, but a lot of the fun comes from timing, cost management, and how you mix units and items. A few cats I personally use a lot: Masashi (ninja cat) – when he meets the first enemy, he teleports behind them and keeps walking. He’s great for slipping past the frontline and going straight for the backline or even the base.

Bloons TD battles is an action and fantasy-themed game where you play as a monkey. You must use different sharp weapons, including darts and ninja stars, to defend yourself against balloons, but unlike other versions of Bloons TD, you're facing players like yourself, so you don't just protect yourself. You attack by sending Bloons past your opponent's defences. It is an online game requiring internet connectivity as you compete against different people worldwide. Bloons TD battles was released on the 18th of July 2013, by Ninja Kiwi. It is rated E, meaning everyone can enjoy playing the game as it contains mild fantasy violence without blood or gore themes. The game has seamless gameplay and easy controls that anyone can use. It is simply selecting an option on the bottom of the screen and placing it in a strategic area where you know it will serve you best. Once you get used to it, you will play the game easily.

I’m working on a little cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and recently I finished a new unit I’m pretty happy with: the samurai cat Akagoro. He costs 7 dried fish, so most of the time he’s just standing in the hand looking lazy with his straw hat on while you save up. The idea is that he’s one of those “okay, now it’s worth spending everything” kind of units. His first attack is the fun part: he pauses for a moment, then flash-dashes forward and does a quick iai-style slash. That opening hit usually closes the gap and deletes one target in one go. After that he settles into a more normal melee rhythm, but that first cut is meant to feel like a classic single clean samurai strike. One gif I recorded is just a simple 1v1 test, the other is Akagoro in an actual stage after you unlock him, so you can see how he behaves in a real wave. Hey everyone, today I wanna talk about why I decided to make this game — and it all goes back to a year ago. Back then, I was still a hardworking corporate drone chained to my desk, and the highlight of my day was stumbling upon this little game during my slacking-off time — *We Are Warriors*. The art style was absurdly simplistic, like something scribbled in a rough draft, but somehow I got totally hooked! The gameplay was super straightforward: tap to summon troops, overwhelm the enemy with numbers, and unlock the next stage (can’t remember the exact rules now, but basically, you just mindlessly tapped away). Each stage only had three types of units, just with different summoning costs. And the so-called "upgrades" only tweaked how fast those costs increased — honestly, it was all just number inflation, with zero innovation in the core gameplay. But the more I played, the more I wondered: how could such a simple setup keep me so addicted? Then it hit me — what if each unit had its own unique skill, plus a rock-paper-scissors type of counter system? Wouldn't that make the gameplay twice as fun?! And then, why not throw in my ultimate obsession — cats! Imagine chubby little kitties leading an army, some scratching up close, others attacking from a distance… just thinking about it melts my heart! Wasn't this my dream game?! I got so pumped I almost slammed the table and handed in my resignation right then… (Wait, don't get me wrong — it wasn't some impulsive career suicide. I’m making a small indie game called Claws of Power. A big part of the starting point for this game was those old lane-push browser games, especially Age of War. I always thought that kind of gameplay was weirdly addictive, and also had more room to be explored than most games ever did with it. So I ended up making my own version of that feeling — but with cats. At the core, it’s still a single-lane push game: you spend dried fish to summon units, they walk forward automatically, fight on the lane, and whoever destroys the enemy base first wins. But I’ve been trying to build more around that loop: different cat skills, items, equipment, timing, positioning, and more ways to actually make decisions instead of just spamming units. I still don’t know the perfect genre name for this kind of game. It’s a bit lane strategy, a bit tower defense, a bit RTS, and a bit chaotic auto-battle nonsense. Whatever the label is, this is basically my attempt to take that old Age of War style and push it in my own direction.
