New witch catgirl “Spring Roll” – which pose looks better?

I’ve just added a new catgirl to Claws of Power called Spring Roll. She’s a little Halloween witch – cat ears, big hat, broom, bell collar – the one in these pics. Right now I’m stuck between two idle poses: I can’t decide, so I wanted to ask you all: if this goes into the game, which one would you rather see? Feel free to just comment “1” or “2”. If you have other cat ideas (maid, rocker, sports, cyber, ninja, etc.), you can also drop them in the comments – I’m always collecting concepts for future characters. There’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam if you want to see the game itself: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ 🐾

Overall Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best New Contender for Indian Road Sims! As a long-time fan of Maleo’s work, I was excited to jump into Bus Simulator India (BUSSIN). It’s a fresh start with a massive amount of potential. The developers have captured the chaotic yet vibrant "Indian vibe" perfectly, from the iconic air horns to the specific environment details.  The Good (Pros): Atmosphere: The environment and city layouts feel authentic. It’s not just a reskin; it feels like driving on real Indian highways.

Claws of Power – how I’m building progression in my cat RTS

I’m a solo dev working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been focusing a lot on the out-of-match progression instead of just the battles. Right now there are a few main pieces: The base can be upgraded to increase its HP. A lot of players (including me) tend to ignore it at first and just go full offense, but some people like stacking base HP and playing more “hold and counter” style. Later I want to give the base its own talents, like blocking one big hit, reflecting damage, or even adding small turrets.

Solo-dev indie game – Claws of Power (^_^) meow…

Hi, I’m Garlic Sprout. I used to work as a game artist, and now I’m making my own little indie project called “Claws of Power”. It’s a card-based real-time lane strategy game about cats: you spend dried fish to summon different cats, build your lineup, and try to push down the enemy base. At first glance it looks very simple, but with cat skills, timing and equipment builds, there’s actually quite a bit to play around with. If you’d like to experience the joy of commanding an army of cats powered by dried fish, you can find the game on Steam by searching “Claws of Power”, try the free demo, and leave your thoughts if you feel like it.

I made an anti-ranged assassin cat for my game

I’ve been testing a new unit in Claws of Power called Aosha. He’s basically an assassin cat: blue scarf, dual blades, always moving like he’s about to cause trouble. The idea for him actually came from a player, so this one is kind of a custom character brought into the game. One balance problem in earlier versions was that ranged units were getting a bit too comfortable, so I wanted something that could punish them directly instead of just trying to out-stat them. Aosha’s normal attacks have a chance to trigger a quick extra combo. But the more important part is his special trait: if he gets hit by a ranged projectile, he instantly blinks behind that ranged unit, does a guaranteed combo, and then teleports back to where he was before. So against archers and gunners he’s… not very polite. The GIFs I’m posting are from my latest test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when the matchup is right. If you’re curious about the game itself, there’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ 🐾

1 HP base comeback run in my cat RTS

I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and these GIFs are from a chapter 4 run where my base was basically at 1 HP. I’d already accepted it was a loss, but it somehow turned into a clear. The core of the run is a simple combo: mech MK-350 + Gatling Bard. MK-350 goes to the frontline, takes hits and still does decent damage. When the mech breaks, the pilot John pops out with low HP and keeps shooting. If he survives long enough to fill his gauge, he can call the mech back, a bit like Kled’s “back on mount” feeling. Bard’s job is just to stand behind and delete things with raw DPS. The risky part is the timing: I let the enemy walk all the way to my base first, then only start dropping units and items when they’re right in front of the core. If I’m even a bit late, the base just explodes; this time it barely held and turned into a very satisfying clutch. There’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam if you want to try the game yourself: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ Full run video is here if you want to see the whole thing: https://youtu.be/sHX72DAv_xY

Solo-dev indie game –Claws of Power (^_^) meow…

Hi everyone, I’m Garlic Sprout. I used to work as a game artist, and now I’m making my own little indie game called “Claws of Power”. 😸 In Claws of Power, you spend dried fish to summon cats onto the battlefield, and your goal is to push down the enemy base to win. At first glance it looks like a super simple “spend cost, send cats” casual game… but if you look a bit closer, there’s actually a lot to play with. New commanders often spam cats the moment they have enough fish, only to watch two enemy cats completely beat up their two cats and walk away alive. That’s when you discover the first key idea: 👉 Save your cost and control your units – don’t just throw out random cats. Wait a bit, build up enough cost, then send out a proper wave. Suddenly the battle feels very different. The second little detail: 👉 The closer the fight is to your own base, the better it is for you. If the frontline is too far forward, your “backup cats” are still running while your first wave is already wiped, and you end up doing the classic “one cat goes in, one cat dies” rescue chain. If you keep the battle line near your base, reinforcements arrive much faster, and you can build a proper wall of fluffy meow-meow units. Then comes the fun part: cats and their skills. Aside from the starter cat, every cat has its own unique ability: • Fat Meow does a flying pounce and scatters the enemy formation. • Xiao Fu’s basic attack always knocks enemies back (the bigger they are, the less they move). • Chubby Orange heals itself by eating fish when its HP gets low. • Chi Wulang’s very first slash is a huge 200% crit! Right now there are already 30+ different cats, with skills that counter and interact with each other. You can really “adapt on the fly, counter on the spot, and outplay with timing” just by choosing when and what to summon. Next is the equipment system. Each cat has 1–2 equipment slots, and the same item can feel totally different on different cats, so you’re encouraged to experiment and find your own best builds: • The cheapest little Bon Jack feels weak in the late game… but give him extra HP and ATK, and he turns into a tiny, scary gremlin. • Put +ATK and +CRIT gear on Chi Wulang, and his 200% opening slash can go up to a terrifying 30+ damage, enough to just delete a mid-game unit in one hit. Finding the best “cat skill + equipment” combinations is a big part of the fun. Claws of Power  is a card-based real-time strategy game: behind the cute art there are lots of little details. Every cat, every deck, every tiny piece of gear might become the key to a comeback. If you’d like to experience the joy of commanding an army of cats powered by dried fish, you’re very welcome to search “Claws of Power" on Steam and add it to your wishlist meow~ 🐾

Claws of Power – My 7-Fish Samurai Cat Akagoro

I’m working on a little cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and recently I finished a new unit I’m pretty happy with: the samurai cat Akagoro. He costs 7 dried fish, so most of the time he’s just standing in the hand looking lazy with his straw hat on while you save up. The idea is that he’s one of those “okay, now it’s worth spending everything” kind of units. His first attack is the fun part: he pauses for a moment, then flash-dashes forward and does a quick iai-style slash. That opening hit usually closes the gap and deletes one target in one go. After that he settles into a more normal melee rhythm, but that first cut is meant to feel like a classic single clean samurai strike. One gif I recorded is just a simple 1v1 test, the other is Akagoro in an actual stage after you unlock him, so you can see how he behaves in a real wave. I also put a short video here if you want to see the full clip: Claws of Power – Meet “Akagoro”, the 7-Fish Samurai Cat https://youtu.be/-Gbm6seDa-U And if you’re curious about the game itself, there’s a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ 🐾 If anything about his damage/timing looks off to you, feel free to tell me – I’m still tuning his numbers.

When the Whole Kitchen Marches to the Front Line (Chef Cat)

I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been testing this new unit: Chef Cat. He’s not really a fighter by design – tall chef hat, white coat, frying pan in hand. As long as he doesn’t have to hit anyone, he’ll just stand there and “cook” fresh dried fish on the battlefield, slowly boosting your income over time. The fun (and kind of dumb) part is stacking him: more chefs → more fish → more cats → even more chefs… At some point it really feels like you dragged the entire kitchen onto the lane. Of course, if your frontline collapses, the whole kitchen evaporates in two seconds, so it’s a very greedy way to play. If you want to see him in motion, I cut a short video here: When I Brought the Whole Kitchen – Chef Cat in Claws of Power https://youtu.be/DND3FzmbDQE There’s also a free demo of Claws of Power on Steam if you feel like trying it: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3998900/_/ 🐾
