I’m working on a little cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and recently I finished a new unit I’m pretty happy with: the samurai cat Akagoro. He costs 7 dried fish, so most of the time he’s just standing in the hand looking lazy with his straw hat on while you save up. The idea is that he’s one of those “okay, now it’s worth spending everything” kind of units. His first attack is the fun part: he pauses for a moment, then flash-dashes forward and does a quick iai-style slash. That opening hit usually closes the gap and deletes one target in one go. After that he settles into a more normal melee rhythm, but that first cut is meant to feel like a classic single clean samurai strike. One gif I recorded is just a simple 1v1 test, the other is Akagoro in an actual stage after you unlock him, so you can see how he behaves in a real wave. I’ve been testing a new unit in Claws of Power called Aosha. He’s basically an assassin cat: blue scarf, dual blades, always moving like he’s about to cause trouble. The idea for him actually came from a player, so this one is kind of a custom character brought into the game. One balance problem in earlier versions was that ranged units were getting a bit too comfortable, so I wanted something that could punish them directly instead of just trying to out-stat them. Aosha’s normal attacks have a chance to trigger a quick extra combo. But the more important part is his special trait: if he gets hit by a ranged projectile, he instantly blinks behind that ranged unit, does a guaranteed combo, and then teleports back to where he was before. So against archers and gunners he’s… not very polite. The GIFs I’m posting are from my latest test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when the matchup is right. I saw Gacha smacks video to day , he said that Tribe nine will EOS at November 27th , this is public info , they've put it in their socials . I’m a solo dev working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and lately I’ve been focusing a lot on the out-of-match progression instead of just the battles. Right now there are a few main pieces: The base can be upgraded to increase its HP. A lot of players (including me) tend to ignore it at first and just go full offense, but some people like stacking base HP and playing more “hold and counter” style. Later I want to give the base its own talents, like blocking one big hit, reflecting damage, or even adding small turrets.

1. Maximize Your Waifu/Husband – Character Progression Skip the pity system early: farming 10-pull duplicates is better long-term. Rule of thumb: Keep one SSR rarity in each role (dmg dealer, tank, support) and dupe them. Why? Skill books and weapon upgrades depend on duplicates 2. Soul Resonance Combos You Aren’t Using Pair souls strategically:  Bloodlust synergy for explosive damage bursts. :  Frost debuffs freeze enemies solid, turning them into practice dummies. Train smart:  Save crystals for resonances that unlock  team-level skills  (like full-party buffs).

I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and these GIFs are from a chapter 4 run I was sure I had already lost. The base was basically at 1 HP, but it somehow still turned into a clear. The main setup here is MK-350 + Gatling Bard. MK-350 goes in first, tanks damage, and when it breaks the pilot John gets thrown out and keeps fighting. If he survives long enough, he can get back into the mech again. Bard just stands behind and pumps out damage. The risky part is that I let the enemy walk all the way to my base first, then only start dropping units and items at the last second. One of the fun parts of making my own game is that sometimes I can just take a character vibe I really like and turn it into a cat. So this time I made a new unit for Claws of Power called Wade. Dark outfit, glowing red blade, very obvious “space villain” energy. He’s not just there for looks, though. In battle he can use the red blade to block incoming ranged attacks, which makes him really funny to watch against archers and gunners. He also has a pull / gravity-like skill that drags enemies from farther away right into melee range, so once they get close, he can start bullying them properly. The whole thing is still hand-drawn frame by frame, and these GIFs are from my current test build. I’m still tuning him, but he’s already one of those units that feels very satisfying when everything lines up.
