I’m a solo dev working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power. You spend dried fish to summon different cats, line them up, and try to break the enemy base. These gifs are from a later vampire boss fight. The boss appears out of a swarm of bats, then walks forward with the wave, throwing out black energy orbs and lightning that can pretty much erase your frontline if your timing is bad. On my side it’s mainly the Gatling muscle cat plus Nuba (the blue tiger cat) trying to clean up the lane and slowly push toward him. The other gif is just a little interaction I really like: a tiny knight cat jumps onto a big tank cat and rides along, stabbing away while the big one eats all the damage in front. The starter trio is pretty simple but important: • Bacon Jack – super cheap melee, not strong on his own but great for early swarms. • A Qiang – fragile ranged pebble-thrower, hides behind others and does real damage. • Blue Fatty – early tank, hard to knock back and keeps your backline safe. Then you unlock three “upgraded” versions: • Xiao Fu – fork-wielding melee with a wide hitbox and knockback, very good at breaking formations. • Wu Ji – slingshot cat with extra damage and a little stun, kind of a CC / DPS hybrid. • Big Ju – chunky salted-fish bruiser who hits hard and can heal himself by eating the fish when low. I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and these GIFs are from a chapter 4 run I was sure I had already lost. The base was basically at 1 HP, but it somehow still turned into a clear. The main setup here is MK-350 + Gatling Bard. MK-350 goes in first, tanks damage, and when it breaks the pilot John gets thrown out and keeps fighting. If he survives long enough, he can get back into the mech again. Bard just stands behind and pumps out damage. The risky part is that I let the enemy walk all the way to my base first, then only start dropping units and items at the last second.
