I just completed execute story mode, it takes around 1:30 hours to completed the game, and literally i love it the gameplay, the story, the sounds and hostage negotiation

I’m making a small indie game called Claws of Power. A big part of the starting point for this game was those old lane-push browser games, especially Age of War. I always thought that kind of gameplay was weirdly addictive, and also had more room to be explored than most games ever did with it. So I ended up making my own version of that feeling — but with cats. At the core, it’s still a single-lane push game: you spend dried fish to summon units, they walk forward automatically, fight on the lane, and whoever destroys the enemy base first wins. But I’ve been trying to build more around that loop: different cat skills, items, equipment, timing, positioning, and more ways to actually make decisions instead of just spamming units. I still don’t know the perfect genre name for this kind of game. It’s a bit lane strategy, a bit tower defense, a bit RTS, and a bit chaotic auto-battle nonsense. Whatever the label is, this is basically my attempt to take that old Age of War style and push it in my own direction. I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and these GIFs are from a short video where I show the first six cats you get in Chapter 1. The starter trio is pretty simple but important: • Bacon Jack – super cheap melee, not strong on his own but great for early swarms. • A Qiang – fragile ranged pebble-thrower, hides behind others and does real damage. • Blue Fatty – early tank, hard to knock back and keeps your backline safe. Then you unlock three “upgraded” versions: • Xiao Fu – fork-wielding melee with a wide hitbox and knockback, very good at breaking formations. • Wu Ji – slingshot cat with extra damage and a little stun, kind of a CC / DPS hybrid. • Big Ju – chunky salted-fish bruiser who hits hard and can heal himself by eating the fish when low. The weapon system is diverse, and the other features are as good. Optimizing these resources will result in you playing the game successfully.

I’m working on a small cat lane strategy game called Claws of Power, and these GIFs are from a chapter 4 run where my base was basically at 1 HP. I’d already accepted it was a loss, but it somehow turned into a clear. The core of the run is a simple combo: mech MK-350 + Gatling Bard. MK-350 goes to the frontline, takes hits and still does decent damage. When the mech breaks, the pilot John pops out with low HP and keeps shooting. If he survives long enough to fill his gauge, he can call the mech back, a bit like Kled’s “back on mount” feeling. Bard’s job is just to stand behind and delete things with raw DPS. The risky part is the timing: I let the enemy walk all the way to my base first, then only start dropping units and items when they’re right in front of the core. If I’m even a bit late, the base just explodes; this time it barely held and turned into a very satisfying clutch.
