SHOULD I PLAY STARSTRIDE? No. Starstride is a semi-functional mess of a sci-fi gacha game that presents an incoherent, generic story centered around simplistic MMO-style quests and button-mashing monster hunts. When it works, it involves watching your character auto-run to the next quest-giving NPC, who spouts a bit of hastily translated story at you before giving you an assignment to kill four spiders or hunt a monster in a bowling alley-sized instance encounter. The world is nonsensical, the characters are lifeless and dull, and none of it is fun.

It is an anime RPG with the heroines of Senran Kagura, or the anime martial arts master. We will have to train the girls and make friends. In addition, we can choose from many characters from the saga, including those from card games. It is possible to recruit characters from other game series and manga. Why don't we do some mission impossible nonsense with our free time since we've got the blessing to blow sh*t--and ourselves--up for fun."

Among the available modes we will have the classic deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag and capture of objectives but to do so, we will be assisted by three members of our team. Each of them can choose only one of the four available classes: assault, reconnaissance, engineering and support. In addition, we can choose the equipment, maps and most appropriate routes to complete the mission and collect rewards during and at the end of the mission. In the campaign mode, we can even recreate the events narrated in the film Black Hawk Down, set in Mogadishu (Somalia), that is, we will have to save a group of soldiers whose helicopter was shot down in the middle of the city!  In single-player missions, we can choose from a varied arsenal and customize our character with special equipment, tactical items and passive skills. Everything is managed audiovisually through indicators that are sometimes difficult to read and much more explicit reproductions of a heartbeat, faster the greater the criminal's fear!  Stealth is nothing more than a sweetened version of Splinter Cell: to get behind the unsuspecting enemy and take him out otherwise we will be massacred in an instant by bursts of machine guns! The level design is cinematically beautiful to see so much so that there are numerous stages to explore so huge that it will take two hours to finish a single mission. Furthermore, there are three difficulty levels which guarantee a minimum challenge. I will tell you everything is made in an exceptional way and with great care, and in particular the polygonal model of Batman is impressive, very faithful to the film counterpart, equipped with an impressive number of animations, very fluid and convincing. Just look at the cape, how it moves, to be fascinated; the other main characters are also wonderful, Ducard and Jonathan Crane, Falcone and Agent Flass seem just like them. The graphics and sound are at very high levels.. and then let me say: The dubbing in Italian is state of the art.
