It is a new incarnation of the Konami action shooter starring Bill & Lane 📖 Storyline: First released in 1987, Bill and Lance are back with a bunch of new characters in Contra: Return.  I didn't play any of the early Contra games (I'm young!) but I remember playing my first Contra game on the Game Boy.  It was one of the most challenging platform shooters at the time. 🎮 Gameplay: It retains the action gameplay of the side-scrolling shooter, along with duo mode and additional new features.  Furthermore, by defeating the bossfires we will relive small reminiscences of the arcade glories!  The mobile version adds a number of new playable characters with different special abilities and powerful weapons.

Astra: Knights of Veda is a gacha side-scrolling beat ‘em up that features a rich story and world with some really gorgeous accompanying visuals. Character sprites look wonderful and full of personality, and the game’s voice acting and direction are decent. Still, this is only the demo. Moonstone Island is many things. It’s a monster fighting/catching game with a card battle system. It’s a crafting and resource-gathering chore quest on floating isles in the sky. It even has light social and dating sim elements in there as well. All of this is wrapped in a cutesy, 2D pixel art package. We live day to day and have to manage our time and resources wisely to accomplish as much as we can in our allotted time. These activities can range from mining rocks, cutting down trees, crafting a whole bunch of things, planting and harvesting crops, you name it. There’s a lot of hidden treasures in the wild and smashing a rock open might sometimes lead to a hidden dungeon beneath.

There's no better way to sum up the gaming business lately than a collective bag of shite being thrown at Unity for trying so hard to sink their greedy mitts into everyone's pockets and causing a lot of panic towards indie developers and big brand names. It's excellent to see studios banding together in a boycott of the Unity platform, which is where this game is available. Dancing Duelists is a game that was created in three weeks after a fast changeover to a new gaming engine. Consider what could be accomplished in two months.

Astra: Knights of Veda is a gacha side-scrolling beat ‘em up that features a rich story and world with some really gorgeous accompanying visuals. The story of Astra is incredibly illustrated and decently acted. With the demo being fully voice-acted, it kept me engaged most of the time. It also doesn’t shy away from pretty gnarly stuff which I as a story enthusiast appreciated. Astra operates like a typical 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up, in a way similar to ASTLIBRA Revision released back in 2022, with a basic attack, dodge, special, and ultimate. You need to use these moves in conjunction with each other to successfully clear each zone. You can also switch your characters on the fly (thanks to a big story reason) to spice things up.
