Very few RPGs manage to capture the sense of whimsy and adventure of Super Mario RPG, so when one comes along, we take notice. That's why we couldn't look away when we saw the absolutely adorable and fun-looking Born of Bread. This RPG puts players into the shoes of Loaf, a "flour golem" who must journey the world and make new friends while solving a perplexing mystery. Like Super Mario RPG, Born of Bread's combat system is technically turn-based, but different moves allow players to do extra damage by completing timing-based challenges. So it requires a little more attention than the average turn-based RPG, where you might just tap "attack" over and over.

Park Beyond isn’t as deep as theme park builders like Planet Coaster, but it’s a fun, easy-to-play game with a great selection of maps and building tools. While I was able to build some pretty complex roller coasters from scratch, Park Beyond also has plenty of prefabricated rides and coasters, making it perfect for short or more casual play sessions. I did run into some issues during my playtime, but most of those problems were pretty minor, and I’m hoping they’ll be addressed through patches in the not-too-distant future.
