More than maybe any other single development studio, Codemasters knows rally racing.  They've been pumping out the Colin McRae Rally and Dirt games for many years, and now they're taking over the EA Sports WRC series. This marks a big milestone for both Codemasters—which was purchased by EA in 2020—and the WRC franchise in video game form, which has previously been worked on by French developer Kylotonn to mixed results.

"League of Legends" on PC is super intense and competitive. It pushes players to rise through the ranks or pay attention to watch top players battle it out in esports tournaments. Players pick champions with different roles, and the two teams go head-to-head in a 5v5 match. The main goal is to destroy the enemy's base, the nexus. It's kind of like football, where different roles have different positions. For example, the jungle roams around to surprise and take out enemies. Mages usually control the mid-lane, and so on.

Astra: Knights of Veda is a gacha side-scrolling beat ‘em up that features a rich story and world with some really gorgeous accompanying visuals. The story of Astra is incredibly illustrated and decently acted. With the demo being fully voice-acted, it kept me engaged most of the time. It also doesn’t shy away from pretty gnarly stuff which I as a story enthusiast appreciated. Astra operates like a typical 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up, in a way similar to ASTLIBRA Revision released back in 2022, with a basic attack, dodge, special, and ultimate. You need to use these moves in conjunction with each other to successfully clear each zone. You can also switch your characters on the fly (thanks to a big story reason) to spice things up.

We've done every quest in Starfield. We've seen every ending in Baldur's Gate 3. We need to know what's next—specifically, what's the next massive role-playing game that will keep us glued to our screens for months to come? Meet Broken Roads, which just might be the answer. This new RPG is described by its own developers as a love letter to classic computer RPGs, which means you can expect a lengthy journey, challenging combat encounters, and deep, morally complex story choices. It features a Fallout-style post-apocalyptic setting, except with the interesting twist that it's set in Australia specifically.

The game's graphics are impressive, with detailed and beautifully rendered spaceships and environments that really capture the epic scale of interstellar battles. The sound design is also top-notch, with a sweeping orchestral score that helps to create a sense of grandeur and adventure. But the real standout feature of Homeworld Mobile is its gameplay. The game strikes a perfect balance between accessibility and depth, with intuitive touch controls that make it easy to manage your fleet and engage in battles, while still offering plenty of strategic options and tactical depth. The game's campaign mode offers a compelling story that keeps you invested in the fate of your fleet and the fate of the galaxy. And once you've completed the campaign, there are plenty of skirmish and multiplayer modes to keep you coming back for more. One minor issue I encountered with the game was that it occasionally suffered from lag or stuttering on my older phone, but this was a minor annoyance that didn't detract from the overall experience. Overall, Homeworld Mobile is an excellent addition to the series and a must-play for fans of space strategy games. Can you believe it's been almost a decade since the last SimCity game came out? While EA may have left us city-builder fans in the dust, Paradox stepped up with the excellent Cities: Skylines, which launched back in 2015. And now it's finally almost time for Cities: Skylines II! Besides a huge boost to the graphics, Skylines II boasts a number of exciting additions. The game will feature a more complex weather system where the climate changes across seasons and based on how a map is laid out. Those maps will be up to five times bigger than the first game, and players will have more control over zoning and city utility services. There's even a whole new progression system, including skill trees to help differentiate cities from one another.

Game Title: Dawn Restart: Survival Platform: Android, iOS Genre: Simulation, Building, Card, Role-Playing This game maintains a low profile, but in my opinion, it's a rare survival exploration and building game. Unlike many similar games on the market, this game focuses more on exploration and construction rather than heavy microtransactions. Gameplay: The game revolves around exploring wilderness maps to gather various basic resources. With these resources, you can construct essential factories. Once you have factories, you can process a variety of materials. These materials can be used to upgrade buildings, fulfill orders, and engage with various systems. While you can sell materials directly, it's not recommended due to the low return on investment. Instead, it's advisable to complete orders.

Witchspring R is out now on PC and Consoles, and I had the pleasure of playing it on PC through Steam. This game is full of funny moments and adventure to be had. I can't wait to dive even deeper into the game. I just can't put it down. I highly recommend it!
