Undertale. What more must be said? I never thought highly of Undertale until I played it. I never was even close to being interested in this genre of gaming... but it damn near stole first place on my favorites when I played it.

Horde shooters are as abundant as the waves of enemies you mow down. However, today’s game tries to stand out from the mobs by doing something a little different. Synced, a new free-to-play, multiplayer horde shooter is a game with a unique gimmick that turns the monsters you kill into one of your own weapons. That alone got me hooked on the premise and I synced right in. The only real criticism I can levy at Synced at the moment is that there isn’t a whole lot to do outside of the initial grind. But, since it only just came out, updates are bound to come soon and expand the way the game can be played.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? This is a tough call. Some players will be immediately put off by The Banished Vault’s refusal to do many of the computational functions we normally take for granted in games, like clearly indicating how much fuel and resources you’ll need for a journey. Hi there! I think for this first post, some introductions are in order. We are SRG Studios, a veteran (makes us sound old!) studio with a decade of experience making games and we are very very happy to share with you our latest project: Champion Shift. On a personal note, my name is George, Studio Director for SRG. This has been a labor of love and a game you can almost say has been a decade in the making. Not literally, but so many of the lessons, hardships and wins have brought us to this moment and this project, and I couldn’t be more excited. I am a huge fan of roguelikes (as are a lot of the members of the team), and seeing our own Champion Shift universe take shape has been incredibly rewarding.

"League of Legends" on PC is super intense and competitive. It pushes players to rise through the ranks or pay attention to watch top players battle it out in esports tournaments. Players pick champions with different roles, and the two teams go head-to-head in a 5v5 match. The main goal is to destroy the enemy's base, the nexus. It's kind of like football, where different roles have different positions. For example, the jungle roams around to surprise and take out enemies. Mages usually control the mid-lane, and so on.

More than maybe any other single development studio, Codemasters knows rally racing.  They've been pumping out the Colin McRae Rally and Dirt games for many years, and now they're taking over the EA Sports WRC series. This marks a big milestone for both Codemasters—which was purchased by EA in 2020—and the WRC franchise in video game form, which has previously been worked on by French developer Kylotonn to mixed results.

There's no better way to sum up the gaming business lately than a collective bag of shite being thrown at Unity for trying so hard to sink their greedy mitts into everyone's pockets and causing a lot of panic towards indie developers and big brand names.
