Moonstone Island is many things. It’s a monster fighting/catching game with a card battle system. It’s a crafting and resource-gathering chore quest on floating isles in the sky. It even has light social and dating sim elements in there as well. All of this is wrapped in a cutesy, 2D pixel art package. We live day to day and have to manage our time and resources wisely to accomplish as much as we can in our allotted time. One thing I noticed in t3 is the lack of unified effort towards a single premier experience, you can play totally different games across casual, ranked and battle royale. The effort is scattered. My proposal is making a single 5 v 5 game mode that can be played across ranked and casual and is the same in both, allowing devs to focus their effort and resources into a single premier experience that borrows from whats good from each of the current game modes.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re a fan of building and management games. Park Beyond isn’t as deep as theme park builders like Planet Coaster, but it’s a fun, easy-to-play game with a great selection of maps and building tools. While I was able to build some pretty complex roller coasters from scratch, Park Beyond also has plenty of prefabricated rides and coasters, making it perfect for short or more casual play sessions. I did run into some issues during my playtime, but most of those problems were pretty minor, and I’m hoping they’ll be addressed through patches in the not-too-distant future.
