News Tower is the full sim package, requiring equal parts time management, resource management, building layout, and creative input into what stories you assign your reporters to chase down each week. Running your own news empire isn’t easy, but News Tower makes it awfully fun.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re even the slightest fan of horror games. Killer Frequency is an incredibly unique first-person horror game where you take on the role of a small-town night-shift radio DJ. There’s just one twist: A killer is stalking the town during your shift, and all of the town’s 911 calls are being routed through to your station. This means a lot of the “action” is just standing behind a desk, picking which tunes to play and trying to keep innocent people alive with your words alone. Don’t let the limited setting fool you, though; this is a deeply creative game that kept surprising me with new challenges.

the presence of bots has been noticed that turns out to be depending on the record of the top players, this is annoying since there was not something similar before but it is frustrating because even your own record does not let you win or finish in first place, hopefully they will remove this addition which only ruins the satisfaction of the game and makes it stressful. 👎

SHOULD I PLAY METAL SLUG: AWAKENING? Play this one, especially if you’re a fan of the original Metal Slug series or like the simplicity of old-school run-and-gun games. Metal Slug: Awakening takes all the familiarities of this side-scrolling shooter and brings them into the modern age. It’s been a minute since I’ve played any Metal Slug games, but I’d be damned if I wasn’t impressed with the three-dimensional visuals, fully voiced cast, online multiplayer, and the barrage of weapons I could use to destroy all manner of freedom-hating enemies across the map.

Dragon Quest Monsters has been a spin-off branch of Enix's beloved Dragon Quest series since the first one launched for the Game Boy Color way back in 1998.
