Alright, it's a great problem to have, but with so many upcoming hot titles, there are too many to choose from! That being said, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis has caught my eye. Despite the luxury of having a new Final Fantasy title based on the world of FF7 on my phone, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis has some legitimate aspects I'd like to check out.

Astra: Knights of Veda is a gacha side-scrolling beat ‘em up that features a rich story and world with some really gorgeous accompanying visuals. The story of Astra is incredibly illustrated and decently acted. With the demo being fully voice-acted, it kept me engaged most of the time. It also doesn’t shy away from pretty gnarly stuff which I as a story enthusiast appreciated. Astra operates like a typical 2D side-scrolling beat ‘em up, in a way similar to ASTLIBRA Revision released back in 2022, with a basic attack, dodge, special, and ultimate. You need to use these moves in conjunction with each other to successfully clear each zone. You can also switch your characters on the fly (thanks to a big story reason) to spice things up.

THE FINALS, while troublesome in a few areas, the majority of which are balancing and exploits that can only be done with a few classes, has the potential to become the next best thing, with no microtransactions that are predatory because everything in the playtest was shown to be play to earn, not pay to win.
