We have a brand new game mode for Star Survivor, currently called Campaign (sounded cute, might rename later) where you choose a ship and traverse through a series of missions to build up your ship. In this mode, you start from scratch and must craft your build on the fly with the options presented to you along your journey. IS TURBO OVERKILL WORTH THE TRIP? There's definitely going to be an appeal here if you're a fan of existing boomer shooters like Doom, Dusk or waiting for the release of more contemporary titles like Forgive Me, Father 2 or Project Warlock 2. Especially in the latter case, as though it caters to the more retro-styled visuals you might find in older titles, and the frantic but familiar core gameplay of emptying every available ammo cartridge in constant swarms of enemies -

Horde shooters are as abundant as the waves of enemies you mow down. However, today’s game tries to stand out from the mobs by doing something a little different. Synced, a new free-to-play, multiplayer horde shooter is a game with a unique gimmick that turns the monsters you kill into one of your own weapons. That alone got me hooked on the premise and I synced right in. The only real criticism I can levy at Synced at the moment is that there isn’t a whole lot to do outside of the initial grind. But, since it only just came out, updates are bound to come soon and expand the way the game can be played.
