However, despite everything on surface level looking like a return to form, that actually isn’t the case. So, if you’re looking for a historically-appreciative return to Assassin’s Creed’s roots, Mirage is not exactly what you’re looking for. Still, it does pay homage to the earlier games and has a significantly shorter playtime of 20 hours compared to the newer titles. If you didn’t like the bloat of the new games and wanted a tighter, more focused experience, Mirage might be worth looking into.

This game in my opinion is the best open world game of all time. The fact that this game takes over 100-200 hours to beat says it all. This game is huge with so many things to do (273 quests to be exact) making this game insanely fun with new things every turn. The world itself is just under 39 square kilometers (15 square miles). I recommend this game to anyone and everyone interested in games with open worlds and lots of content!
