Moonlighter Review: A Pixelated Adventure-Merchant Game with Room for Improvement

"Moonlighter" is a pixel-based adventure-merchant game where we delve into dungeons, defeat enemies, collect their loot, and eventually return to town to sell our spoils and enhance our gear. The game features five dungeons comprising three floors and a formidable boss. We can return to town through various means, such as defeating the boss, paying a fee for a one-way trip back, or opening a portal that allows us to return to the same floor, fully rejuvenated and restocked. In this game, we have a choice of five weapon types: sword and shield, big sword, spear, gloves, and bows. Each weapon type offers two upgrade paths, one focused on raw damage and the other on elemental damage. Spears are the best option due to their remarkable range, swift attack speed, and substantial damage output. However, big swords are cumbersome, while the other melee weapons need more range. While having its uses, the bow may need to provide more benefits to justify its inclusion. Players can freely switch between two weapons within a dungeon, but upgrading armor merely enhances its stats.

Indiana Jones meets H.P. Lovecraft in tactics adventure The Lamplighters League

SHOULD I PLAY THE LAMPLIGHTERS LEAGUE? Definitely play The Lamplighters League if you’re at all interested in turn-based tactics, or are simply up for an Indiana Jones-inspired adventure full of creepy cultists, ancient artifacts, and sinister schemes. While it looks a bit lighthearted and simple at first, I was impressed by its depth and originality. It’s a worthy successor to developer Harebrained Schemes’

This old-school RPG is the perfect Diablo IV antidote - Hammerwatch II Quick Review

SHOULD I PLAY HAMMERWATCH II? Definitely play this if you’re a Diablo IV fan who’s feeling a bit burned out by the nerfs and endless grinding plaguing Blizzard’s big hit of the summer. Hammerwatch II is a cute-looking pixel-art action RPG that doesn’t look all that notable at first glance. Give it a chance, though, and Hammerwatch II opens up to reveal a massive world full of cool dungeons to explore, classes to experiment with, and big bosses to defeat in single combat or alongside friends in co-op.

Roguelite Meets Fighting Game? - BlazBlue Entropy Effect Quick Review

IS ENTROPY EFFECT WORTH WATCHING? Now, I'm a -huge- fan of Roguelites, especially the games that lean a lot heavier into sidescrolling action, or spectacle fighters. Combine that with an overarching fondness for the Blazblue franchise (Though I still need to play Centralfiction), and you can likely see why I was excited to dip my toes into 91Act's BlazBlue: Entropy Effect. And honestly? Despite being an early-access title, the content itself feels incredibly solid.

how to make DIY phone trigger : In the Sea Year 306, the territories of 25 island nations on Earth were engulfed by surging sea levels. Nearly thirty million people lost their homelands, thrust into the ranks of climate refugees. Just as these disoriented refugees grappled with their fate, a colossal millennia-spanning endeavor, the "Neptune ," extended its hand of assistance. In the initial stage of this monumental project, a fleet of "Kiwi" airships, collectively known as the "Kiwi ," was launched into the cosmic abyss on the inaugural day of the Sea Year. Laden with the genetic essence of Earth's flora and fauna, these vessels aimed to lay the foundation on the distant, watery exoplanet. The eagerly-awaited second phase, meticulously devised, aimed to deploy a myriad of "Neptune" crewed spacecraft, dubbed the "Neptune," to the aquatic world. As a result, following thorough selection, the first cohort of several thousand young pioneers, bearing the aspirations of climate refugees' survival and humanity's dreams of exploring the stars, undertook rigorous trials and embarked on a stellar journey. They ventured onto the uncharted path of cosmic drift, preserving the essence of human heritage amid the enigmatic tapestry of an alien star system.

Choo-Choo Charles | Nightmare Mode will be available on October 26th!

Have you ever imagined, you would be chased by a Thomas the Train? Thomas the Train, is the childhood cartoon for most of us. It may be its eerie smile that inspires the Valley of Horrors effect in humans, or it may be the fact that various netizens play with stems and often make up urban legends about it. The developer TWO STAR announced that it was making a horror game about Thomas the Train. Just when everyone thought they were joking, TWO STAR released a trailer that scared the pants off of everyone. At the same time, the intense and exciting gameplay of "

A Left 4 Dead/Back 4 Blood type of FPS PvE game.

Unfortunately Dead 4 Returns is assumed dead since the abrupt complete silence and no news, but I still think there’s a huge missing opportunity to be made here to create a great CO-OP PvE game like those in the title here. Obviously needs to be both iOS and Android, maybe even PC,no hyper casual bs, a full fledge AA or AAA game, I think the right team with enough talent and resources could pull it off.

This ambitious open-world survival game is like Valheim meets Skyrim, and you can try it free soon

There's nothing quite like setting off into a new wide-open world full of secrets to discover, resources to mine, and cool gear to craft. But that survival game stuff is only one of the reasons we're excited for Enshrouded. Enshrouded takes the survival/crafting gameplay of a game like Valheim or Minecraft and adds some deeper dark-fantasy RPG elements. It's set in a massive, epic voxel-based world where up to sixteen players can team up for co-op, and players are given the freedom to build massive bases and otherwise reshape the world however they see fit. It also has huge dungeons, tons of fantastical creatures to fight, and some awesome-looking traversal abilities, such as hang gliding and grappling.

Best Sci-Fi Horror Game

Dead Space in my opinion is the best Sci-Fi horror game around. This game perfectly balances story, gore, and horror elements from eachother keeping you on the edge of your chair waiting for something to happen. The game is really well put to gether and is an amazing game for its age. Personally, I played this game on my XBox 360 and the fact that it still looks amazing just goes to show how well this game was made. I think this series is my favorite horror game series because of its story. I would totally recommend this game to all horror game lovers as well as shooter game lovers!

The Cub is Limbo meets Donkey Kong Country Returns, and it might be 2024’s first must-play indie

SHOULD I PLAY THE CUB? Hell yes, especially since there’s a free demo available now. The Cub is an action-packed 2D platformer set on a postapocalyptic Earth that looks set to be one of the first indie hits of 2024. While the full game won’t be available until January 19, 2024, you can play the demo for free now, and it’s already very impressive. The game’s gorgeous visuals and challenging gameplay were definitely enough to sell me, and I can’t wait to check out the full version.

My Time at Sandrock makes life after an apocalypse look pretty cozy

SHOULD I PLAY MY TIME AT SANDROCK? My Time at Sandrock is a terrific follow-up to My Time at Portia, so you won’t want to miss it if you liked the original. I’d also recommend it to anyone who likes crafting, farming sims, or survival games. While both titles in the series take place in a post-apocalyptic world, My Time at Sandrock really made me feel like I was fighting against the environment. There’s something strangely cozy about searching for resources in an inhospitable wasteland. Whether I was helping a local find shade or repairing damage after a nasty sandstorm, it felt like I was making the world around me a better place, and that was really satisfying.

SHOULD I PLAY BOMB RUSH CYBERFUNK? If you’re a fan of Jet Set Radio, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk is a must-play. Developed by indie studio Team Reptile, it’s a near-perfect throwback to Y2K-era gaming. While it’s an undeniable nostalgia bomb, it’s worth playing even if you don’t really remember the Dreamcast games.
