It’s a ton of fun to shift between monster slaying and skateboarding tricks, but I ran into several issues during my playtime. If you pick it up now, you’ll probably have a good time, but I suspect it’ll be much better once it’s had more time in the oven.

But since EA hasn't done anything with that franchise in ages, publisher Kalypso Media and developer Realmforge Studios have picked up the slack with the Dungeons series. The latest entry, Dungeons 4, is almost here, and it's looking like a devilishly good time. With a firmly goofy tone, the game will have players building a dungeon fit to keep the various orcs, goblins, and other evil denizens happy and healthy. But they'll need to contend with raiding parties from above and below, as humans, elves, and dwarves attempt to invade the dungeon and steal the precious gold and gems within.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you love crafting or want to get into the Atelier series. Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg is a new and improved version of the very first Atelier game. It feels a little light on features when compared to the latest games in the franchise, but it has a streamlined approach to alchemy that makes it a great jumping on point. I’m a longtime Atelier fan, and it felt awesome to go back to the series’ roots and see where it all began.

SHOULD I PLAY BLAZBLUE ENTROPY EFFECT? Play it if you love top-notch anime visuals or are a fan of roguelite platformers like Dead Cells, Risk of Rain, or Rogue Legacy. It’s an odd mix, but it works: ARC System Works’ fantastic animation style paired up with a punchy, evolving combat system and a cyberpunk world full of mysteries to uncover makes for a thrilling experience, even if it can be a bit confusing at first.

Pros: I really enjoy playing this game, all the game modes are so fun to play and the new event is exciting. Cons: I don't really have a con the game is very fun in my opinion. Overall: Very very fun game. I love it and highly recommend. Fortnight is one of the most influential games in history, and it is almost singularly responsible for battle passes that “pay for themselves”, free seasonal content updates, and cross-platform multiplayer becoming industry norms.

Motorsport focuses heavily on the racing-sim aspect of the franchise, carrying with it its fair share of real-life race tracks and events that fans of racing will recognize. Forza Motorsport is a great entry point to new players of the franchise, as its many customization and accessibility options allows players to alter and amend the driving suite to suit their needs. Blazblue is recognized as one of the better fighting anime games, comparable to Guilty Gear. However, in this case, it takes on the role of a Metroidvania with a divided community and a lot of misdirection when it comes to it's trailers. It's actually not that bad. It's a refreshing and daring attempt to attract a wider audience, and I applaud this approach, as it piques my interest in checking out the rest of the series as a whole with its exciting gameplay and mystery.

Are you a Sonic fan? I'm afraid I'm not in the same boat. I haven't enjoyed a genuine Sonic game in a long time. I guess I'll never understand the formula. Back then, I was more of a Paper Boy or Tetris guy, along with Zelda and Mario and the occasional Banjo Kazooie, but Sonic never really clicked with me. It's a shame that he's become more of a meme than a household figure for youngsters and gamers alike throughout the years.
