SHOULD I PLAY MY TIME AT SANDROCK? My Time at Sandrock is a terrific follow-up to My Time at Portia, so you won’t want to miss it if you liked the original. I’d also recommend it to anyone who likes crafting, farming sims, or survival games. While both titles in the series take place in a post-apocalyptic world, My Time at Sandrock really made me feel like I was fighting against the environment. There’s something strangely cozy about searching for resources in an inhospitable wasteland. Whether I was helping a local find shade or repairing damage after a nasty sandstorm, it felt like I was making the world around me a better place, and that was really satisfying.

SHOULD I PLAY THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE? Play it. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is an asymmetrical horror game that’s based on the popular 1974 film of the same name. While it suffers from a few technical and balance issues, it’s still a lot of fun. For someone like me who’s played hundreds of hours of Dead by Daylight, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’s extremely gory take on the genre definitely satisfies any bloodlust that wasn’t already taken care of.

Are you a Sonic fan? I'm afraid I'm not in the same boat. I haven't enjoyed a genuine Sonic game in a long time. I guess I'll never understand the formula. Back then, I was more of a Paper Boy or Tetris guy, along with Zelda and Mario and the occasional Banjo Kazooie, but Sonic never really clicked with me. It's a shame that he's become more of a meme than a household figure for youngsters and gamers alike throughout the years. This is one of the best mobile games I've played. I've tested what devices can handle this, and to my surprise most low end devices can actually handle this game. Though you might get kicked out of a match once in awhile. On low end devices it runs at a smooth 20-30 fps, which is pretty decent for low end devices. It can stutter a bit, but it's definitely playable. This is a short and sweet one, 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommended, my very honest and true opinion.

Back in our day we had to turn to the Dungeon Keeper games when we wanted to torture good guys and corrupt fantasy lands. But since EA hasn't done anything with that franchise in ages, publisher Kalypso Media and developer Realmforge Studios have picked up the slack with the Dungeons series. The latest entry, Dungeons 4, is almost here, and it's looking like a devilishly good time. With a firmly goofy tone, the game will have players building a dungeon fit to keep the various orcs, goblins, and other evil denizens happy and healthy. But they'll need to contend with raiding parties from above and below, as humans, elves, and dwarves attempt to invade the dungeon and steal the precious gold and gems within.

I am aware that I face criticism for this stance, but it is vital to recognize that we all think differently and prefer different things. That is, while I dislike the game's progression and randomization, I absolutely love the visuals and vibe it has, but the fact that it has the same 5-7 endings no matter what you do and requires you to go through 100+ iterations of random sequences to get the ones that you want, I find it difficult to recommend because I believe the player has less control over their overall actions outside of inputting commands to advance the game forward through them.
