PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it if you’re a fan of building and management games. Park Beyond isn’t as deep as theme park builders like Planet Coaster, but it’s a fun, easy-to-play game with a great selection of maps and building tools. While I was able to build some pretty complex roller coasters from scratch, Park Beyond also has plenty of prefabricated rides and coasters, making it perfect for short or more casual play sessions. I did run into some issues during my playtime, but most of those problems were pretty minor, and I’m hoping they’ll be addressed through patches in the not-too-distant future.

SHOULD I PLAY SONIC SUPERSTARS? Play it, especially if you’re an old-school Sonic the Hedgehog fan or just love platformers. Sonic Superstars is the latest game to take its franchise back to basics, and I love it! Jumping into this 2D adventure felt just like playing a classic Sonic game. SHOULD I PLAY SILENT HOPE? Definitely give this one a chance if you’re looking for a surprisingly relaxing, grindy dungeon-crawler, but maybe skip it if you mainly go to RPGs for the story. Silent Hope goes back to the absolute basics of the Japanese RPG formula, with a crew of seven mute heroes, each representing a different class, journeying into a multi-level abyss to save a fallen kingdom. By sticking to the fundamentals, the game is able to focus on making the characters and world charming as hell and the core gameplay streamlined and solid.

Role-playing video games have taken us on adventures to all sorts of strange locales: grand fantasy landscapes, epic sci-fi universes, sweeping vistas occupied by gods, and otherworldly realms haunted by the dead. However, we've never been swept off to a setting quite like that of The Thaumaturge. That's because this RPG takes place in Warsaw, Poland in the early 20th century—albeit a slightly fantastical version of Warsaw.

Dead Space in my opinion is the best Sci-Fi horror game around. This game perfectly balances story, gore, and horror elements from eachother keeping you on the edge of your chair waiting for something to happen. The game is really well put to gether and is an amazing game for its age. Personally, I played this game on my XBox 360 and the fact that it still looks amazing just goes to show how well this game was made. I think this series is my favorite horror game series because of its story. I would totally recommend this game to all horror game lovers as well as shooter game lovers!

Blazblue is recognized as one of the better fighting anime games, comparable to Guilty Gear. However, in this case, it takes on the role of a Metroidvania with a divided community and a lot of misdirection when it comes to it's trailers. It's actually not that bad. It's a refreshing and daring attempt to attract a wider audience, and I applaud this approach, as it piques my interest in checking out the rest of the series as a whole with its exciting gameplay and mystery.
