✨Overview Metal Mind is a pixel rogue-lite stick shooter where players take on the role of a mech that can change its parts and gear on the fly. The game was originally released on PC (Steam) last year for an upfront cost of $18, but I had the privilege of trying out a pre-release build of the Android version, and I must say, it transitions quite seamlessly to the mobile platform, if not even better suited for it.

Metal Mind is a bullethell rougelite. Don't really have much to say for this segment since practically all bullethell shmups play the same to me. What I can say is that this game has a bit of charm to it that differentiates it from other similar games like Soul Knight. This game has practically all the mechanics that make up a modern bullethell rougelite. You've got skills and attributes only apply to a single run while also having upgrades that could carry-over to future sessions.

It is a thrilling game, players can choose from a variety of characters each with their own abilities and play style. Whether you prefer stealth and sabotage or an all-out assault there is a character to suit your preferred style of gameplay. As you progress through the game you learn experience points and unlock new abilities weapons and equipment to further enhance your character capabilities.

If you have played twin-stick shooters and retro pixel-style rogue-lites, then Metal Mind  should feel familiar you, The gameplay mechanics of Metal Mind follow a classic twin-stick shooter formula, but with a twist. It’s actually a “single-stick” shooter because aiming is already done automatically. You just have to fire the weapon, or activate abilities. Character movement is controlled using the left stick, and shooting, dodging, and ability with the right part of the screen. Because of the auto-aim mechanic, the controls feel really responsive and right at home as a casual mobile rogue-lite experience. Of course, this comes at a strategic cost of not being able to manually aim at enemies.

Graphics :❤️❤️❤️🤍🤍 Although I am not a fan of roguelike games, I have played a few and found Metal Mind to be enjoyable. Sound Effects : ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤍 I enjoy listening to the background music, Cooling Down Heat sound effect, teleport sound effect, gun sound, but I would appreciate an additional audio cue to indicate when I am hit by enemy damage. This would help me to be more aware of my health and take evasive action as needed.

It is highly recommended for players SOUL KNIGHT But In the game there are no female characters😭

SHOULD I PLAY METAL MIND? Play it. Metal Mind is a sci-fi roguelite dungeon crawler about robots fighting other robots. This solid game may not do anything revolutionary, but it provides an approachable, entertaining dive into a genre that can often be intimidating. TIME PLAYED I played Metal Mind for three hours. I’ve beaten six bosses and traveled through three different biome across fifteen-plus runs. The length of each run varied wildly depending on my success; some ended with death within five minutes, while my best run went for nearly an hour.

Isometric action-roguelike with a mecha theme controlling a highly customizable robot 📖 Storyline: tells the story of a mysterious organization of politicians, scientists and engineers called the ACW.  It is the group's firm belief that robots should not have the right to free will.  Therefore, they begin to collect them and deprive them of their consciousness.  You are an awakened mech and you will embark on a mission to resist this cruelty and fight for your kind.

The game is pretty fun. I like the initial character design and the gameplay is good. The weapons and parts's skills are pretty fun to use and I had a hard time trying to decide which one I liked more in some occasions. I didn't like that much the enhacements. The slots are pretty limited and didn't find an option to replace or erase ones I didn't want anymore. I don't like that much these screen controls, so joystick support is always welcomed.

This game is super fun and I'm glad it's out in beta. The levels are challenging enough to keep you interested and the mods for your character are useful. There's a fair amount of gambling and RNG battling as any good roguelike should have. A couple of the menus were buggy and I found the "auto aim" button to be in the way sometimes but those were minor issues that didn't distract from gameplay. I'll be playing this one for the foreseeable future. ✌️

Going into the game blind, didn't know what to expect. But it was worth it. Absolutely love these types of games and I enjoy the playstyle personally.

I'm typically not a fan of rogue-like titles, but the tactical aspects of Metal Mind caught my attention. It's a game that combines transforming Mecha and Roguelite gameplay. The game allows players to customize their robots and offers various weapons and modifications.

Its pretty great! Feels awesome to play and is really satisfying, the gameplay is smooth fun and its very good. Overall 5! The graphics give off a very nice feeling however it does look kinda messy at times, it needs polishing. And I'm gonna rank the name of the game as well, cuz why not? The name is very...... Cool?

The title reminds me of Metal Slug, so I thought it was also developed by the Metal Slug developer (but it wasn't), add that it also has pixelated graphics. Although it has easy game mechanics, I find making unending combat just to upgrade my Mecha enjoyable, even if it's quite repetitive. The arena where the combat takes place is repetitive too, hoping that they will add something new.
