SHOULD I PLAY PERSONA 5 TACTICA? Play it if you enjoyed Persona 5 and have any interest in strategy RPGs. Persona 5 Tactica is stylish, charming, and has absurdly addictive tactical battles. The chibi art style won’t appeal to everyone, but it’s a fantastic-looking game with even better gameplay. If you haven’t gotten around to playing Persona 5 yet, you might want to avoid this—it has a few major story spoilers—but if you’re willing to deal with that, you should have no issues following the plot. Persona 5 Tactica is a strategic 'tactics RPG' spin-off developed by Atlus and P-Studio, released on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. Set during the events of Persona 5, the Phantom Thieves find themselves in the 'Kingdoms', facing an armed group called Legionnaires. The game introduces a grid-based combat system with Chibi-style characters, departing from the traditional turn-based battles and anime-inspired art style.

SHOULD I PLAY SILENT HOPE? Definitely give this one a chance if you’re looking for a surprisingly relaxing, grindy dungeon-crawler, but maybe skip it if you mainly go to RPGs for the story. Silent Hope goes back to the absolute basics of the Japanese RPG formula, with a crew of seven mute heroes, each representing a different class, journeying into a multi-level abyss to save a fallen kingdom. By sticking to the fundamentals, the game is able to focus on making the characters and world charming as hell and the core gameplay streamlined and solid.
