Os fragmentos de Chronus são necessários para poderes voltar atrás no tempo, isto uma vez a cada 10 anos. A caminho do santuário de Chronus para obter os fragmentos, Loka e o seu mestre Teth são cercados por um homem misterioso chamado Geppel e pelo seu grupo. Querem os fragmentos. Enquanto Teth tenta ganhar tempo, Loka, personagem principal, escapa da caverna sozinho para ir buscar reforços. No entanto quando regressou, Teth e Geppel tinham desaparecido.
Para poder encontrar Teth, o seu mestre, e para impedir Geppel de roubar os fragmentos, Loka decide embarcar numa jornada com a sua amiga Sarna. O jogo inclui buscas familiares, masmorras cheias de enigmas e personagens que crescem e se desenvolvem à medida que a história progride com o sistema de mudança de classes.
