"A lenda diz que a cidade de Ys era uma joia cultural na costa da Bretanha. Prosperou durante o reinado do sábio Rei Gradlon, mas a idade de ouro de Ys não durou para sempre. O conflito violento entre a Rainha Tehda e a sua irmã levou a uma catástrofe e a cidade foi engolida pelo oceano. O rei escapou a tempo, mas as irmãs afogaram-se entre as muralhas da cidade. Diz-se que o Rei Gradlon ainda fica à beira-mar, à espera que a cidade se erga do oceano para voltar a ver a sua amada.
