「Deep Insanity」是 SQUARE ENIX 全新多媒體企劃，將同時發展電視動畫、漫畫與遊戲，於同一世界觀與舞台之下，描述不同時間軸所發生的故事。本作由多次參與《PSYCHO-PASS 心靈判官》劇本製作的 深見真、《學園孤島》與《彼方的阿斯特拉》編劇 海法紀光、漫畫家 塩野干支郎次 共同負責世界觀原案。遊戲主角是一名在大量殺人現場的療養院中，唯一生存的青年「吳・伊諾米涅塔斯（CV：梅原裕一郎）」，主題曲由 Hololive 人氣 VTuber「天音かなた」與「常闇トワ」共同演唱。
