【背景故事】
因為父母異地工作的原因，小女孩珊米從小由爺爺撫養長大。然而，原本他們平靜美好的生活被打破——當地宣佈進入緊急狀態！？
害怕戰爭蔓延，爺爺毅然決然帶上珊米與其雙親重聚，在趕往的途中遭遇事故，爺爺不幸離世，而小珊米的眼睛也再也看不到光明了……
後來，小珊米遇到了她的旅途中不可或缺的小夥伴——導盲犬小光。
咱們的小珊米和導盲犬小光穿越這充滿危險的城市，學會如何與不同人相處及揭露那暗藏的秘密……
