在古老的時間長河中，世界經歷了無數次的毀滅與重生。而我們的故事發生在上古時代，當時有兩個超級強大的主神發生了戰爭——一位是創造我們人類和天使的光明神索沃斯，另一位是創造妖精和魔物的龍神伊斯力。那時候，天上的熾天使數量如同天上的繁星一樣多，因為這場殘酷的主神戰爭，最終銳減到不足三位數！當主神之戰過後，光明神索沃斯創造了第一代人類，那個時代被後世稱做黃金時代，輝煌整整持續了45億年。期間人們又經歷了白銀和青銅時代，直到光明神索沃斯突然離開了他們…… 於是那些曾經在主神之戰中倖存下來的熾天使便分成了兩派。一派是由天使長法默主導的守序派，主張繼續維持索沃斯創造的洛德世界的運轉，直到光明神索沃斯再次回歸，另一派是由薩麥爾主導的無主派，認為光明神已經拋棄這個世界，洛德世界將成為無主之地，需要重新建立新的統治秩序。兩個派係經過數千年的明爭暗鬥，終於有一天反目成仇，雙方陷入長達數個世紀的天界奪權戰爭，最終守序派憑藉光明神索沃斯留下的一件聖物贏得勝利，將無主派逐出天界，而這件聖物的名字就叫——神律！
