身為一名年輕女子，喜妞看著她的父母慘遭一名戴著金色面具的男人殺害。她發誓要想辦法復仇……10 年後，她在因緣際會下成為了一名宮女。她把握了這個機會來尋找戴著黃金面具的男人。
不過宮中的生活並不簡單。其中的陰謀與政治十分凶險，每一步皆如履薄冰。為了生存，喜妞必須學會爾虞我詐。這名來自鄉下的女孩是否能夠避過宮中的險境並為父母報仇？
