THE FINALS is currently in an open beta test on Steam that started last October 26 and will run up to November 5, available for PC (Steam), Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. It's basically an FPS game with class-based abilities where teams of three players battle it out with other teams on the map and go for objectives such as collecting cash or defending vaults to win the game. As with many contemporary shooters, The Finals allows for crossplay, providing scenarios where PC users with keyboard and mouse setups might face off against console players utilizing controllers. To balance the playing field, controller users receive the advantage of aim assist. However, the effectiveness of aim assist compared to manual aiming with a mouse and keyboard is a topic of ongoing discussion. This update aims to fine-tune aim assist to be less dominant and offer a more natural aiming experience for controller players.

Its rapid gameplay, gratifying mechanisms, and distinctive delivery immediately captivated numerous gamers, leading to its widespread success. However, amidst its popularity, the game has encountered a pressing issue - cheating, a common problem in multiplayer FPS games. Numerous players have raised concerns over the increasing presence of cheaters within the game's community. The problem has been exacerbated by the prevalence of cheats, which have had a detrimental impact on the gameplay experience for many. The cheaters have posed a significant challenge for game players, leading to frustration and a sense of unfairness throughout the gaming community. In response to this, an outcry emerged from players claiming that most of these users are playing from China, particularly requesting that cheaters from China be region locked or banned entirely. These requests underscored the severity of the issue and the extent of its impact on players' experience.
