THE FINALS is currently in an open beta test on Steam that started last October 26 and will run up to November 5, available for PC (Steam), Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. This update aims to fine-tune aim assist to be less dominant and offer a more natural aiming experience for controller players.

It's difficult to believe in a lot of things these days, when practically everything is clickbait or overhyped, with no gameplay foundation to build upon. I usually don't care what everyone else is excited about because, well. I know that most things seem too good to be true, and they almost always are. THE FINALS, while troublesome in a few areas, the majority of which are balancing and exploits that can only be done with a few classes, has the potential to become the next best thing, with no microtransactions that are predatory because everything in the playtest was shown to be play to earn, not pay to win.
